Cheap should not be synonymous with sleazy
The hotel is all in all in a good location, 10 minutes walk from king’s cross. They gave us the code to open the door and so we could check in ourselves at midnight.
The positives end here.
The room was filthy as hell, sheets with dark spots not well identified, curtains with splashes everywhere, the bathroom floor dirty, the mirror with splashes of water. The bed had a spring mattress other maybe 10 cm, impossible not to feel the springs in the back, the pillows more like tissue paper than pillows.
On the second day we asked for room service hoping they would clean the room a bit. When we returned in the evening we found the set of passpartout keys of the entire hotel on the bedside table and the room still half undone and dirty. They had not finished the service, they had left us the keys to the whole hotel in the room, they had removed the dirty towels but had not replaced them so they left us even without linen and with the dirty room exactly as before if not more.
Truly to forget. The fact that you pay little does not justify a total lack of hygiene.

Oh my. Put it this way: I’ve been homeless before, living in abandoned buildings, and I felt oddly nostalgic here.
From the moment I booked, I was greeted with several scam attempts, which really set the tone. Upon arrival, a woman sat on a stained plastic pool chair inside a wooden box, couldn’t find my reservation, then photographed my ID on what appeared to be her personal phone. Comforting.
The stairs were generously decorated with dirt and mould. The room itself was tiny and in an absolute state. The window had blocks of scrap wood screwed into it and a torn curtain for ambience. The bed came with two pillows roughly 2cm thick (for two people, naturally) and a mattress of similar proportions, so if you enjoy springs aggressively rearranging your ribcage, you’ll feel right at home.
The walls looked like the paint had given up years ago and were coated in what I can only describe as coffee and mucus. The kettle appeared to have hosted several failed GCSE science experiments, and the cups still had visible spit in them — not even exaggerating.
The bathroom was the real showstopper. A shower so mouldy and neglected that I feared I’d come out dirtier than I went in (we skipped that experience). The sink had no plug, but that was fine as there was no hot water anyway. Toothpaste decorated the mirror, along with the remnants of someone else’s sneezing fit, and dirt was actively settling into the corners like it had paid rent.
There’s more, but honestly, do you really need it? I have no idea how this place is still operating — I assume dirt-cheap prices or bribes, possibly both. Avoid like the plague.

Disgusting - do not book here!!
Absolutely disgusting.
So filthy, we left and booked elsewhere as I refused to sleep in that room.
Yes it's budget but there should be a basic level of cleanliness.
