Anniversary stay
Absolutely amazing hotel we stayed for our anniversary. The spa is fantastic one of the best jacuzzi and steam rooms I’ve been in

Outside pictures in hotels.com aren’t from the hotel. This was a shock when we entered the hotel.
However rooms were okay, very clean and service was excellent.
Restaurant was okay.

An Interesting hybrid
This is an interesting mix. It has very spacious and well-appointed rooms to stay (some with wheel-chair accessible showers). The rooms have excellent temperature controls. Beds are substantialand clean. Breakfast is additional and fairly basic. There's,however, a conference and banquetting centre, a well'supplied bar, a fitness centre (available to hotel guests) and even a golf course. It's quiet as the complex is away from major roads. Staff are pleasant and helpful. A good place to stay.

The room was lovely and spacious, wonderful shower and nice and clean. The reception staff were lovely and helpful. The hotel is in a nice location, very quiet residential area. The bed was super comfy, so nice to have air con to regulate temperature in the heat.
The breakfast was included with the room stay- it was pretty basic and seemed a bit disorganised. I wouldn't pay for it separately.

Waiting on every tee box
Slow play is ridiculous, over 3 hours to play 11 holes, other golfers just walking across the fairways whilst your teeing off, waiting on every tee box before you can tee off, not enjoyable

We are sorry to hear that the round took longer than it should do. We do have marshals on site that try to push play round as quickly and smoothly as possible however due to the fantastic weather we have been experiencing recently, it has drawn out a lot of members and visitors alike to come and play.
Due to the extreme heat, the course is also playing a little bit harder than usual allowing the balls to continue bouncing long after they should have stopped in normal conditions; allowing for traps and hazards to come into play a lot more frequently than normally expected. Due to the heat this has attracted a lot of golfers to come and enjoy the sun, in the pro shop we do ask our members and visitors to keep up with the speed of play required. This is stated upon check in, via the QR codes in the shop and on the first tee, as well as around the various areas of the course asking people to adhere to the speed of play required.
Unfortunately, this hasn't helped during your visit to which we sincerely apologise. We do hope to welcome you back here again the future to experience the course under better circumstances.
