Great food, beautiful location

Utterly beautiful pub inside and out. We did not have accommodation but ate here. Food was well presented and tasted even better. Service was helpful and friendly. Bonus for being dog loving. Already going back!

The most perfect stay

I recently stayed at The Wheatsheaf in Northleach, and it was fantastic! The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay special, nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was gorgeous and the bed super comfy, ensuring a restful night. The food was absolutely delicious, easily a 10/10! Overall, the warm hospitality made my stay memorable. I highly recommend The Wheatsheaf for anyone visiting Northleach!

Over nighter in the Cotswolds

Overall we were really impressed with this hotel! Service, food and the rooms were all lovely. Beautiful gardens with terraced seating areas and outdoor bar too. Parking is very tight so we had to park on the road once we’d been out on the evening but no issue in finding a space. Overall we think it was expensive for the night but Grand Prix was on at Silverstone so may have impacted!
Set in a gorgeous quiet village and we were delighted it was pretty and quiet in comparison to other Cotswold towns. Definitely go for a wander as so picturesque.We visited the Farmers dog and Clarkson’s farm too which aren’t far away.

Awful room

My husband booked a surprise weekend away at this hotel for our anniversary, it was terrible, upon arrival we were shown to a dark dingy room on the back of pub/hotel which had a walk way right by it to outside toilet and the bear garden patio . The room was very very dark had to keep shutters closed because of people walking past , only 1 very sml window to open was extremely hot and stuffy ,there was a sml fan on the floor ( no room on table) the carpets/currains were old and stained , sml wooden cupboard for clothes but large old chair right in front so had to keep moving it to get into cupboard ( chair was very heavy) I could go on & on
