Ice cream friendly service - scrummy all round!

Absolutely scrummy ice cream served by Arch Angle Michael! What more could anyone want? Just wish I had bought my dog with me - yes there's even ice cream for dogs ❤️❤️❤️

Ship Inn Oundle - Accommodation nightmare

The word nightmare does not even do it justice. The room faced into the Outside drinking area& at 12.35 am it remained nosey. Zero sound proofing & zero fan in July heat wave. No plugs near bed & mirror nowhere near a a plug to dry & set hair ahead of a friends wedding. This pub should not be allowed to operate as it’s solid as a quiet location not an outdoor bar outside Window. At £70 for the night it is a disgrace. Room smells of sewage. Avoid this place at weekends.

Lovely lunchtime experience

Been here many times over the years but alas haven’t reviewed till now
Everything is excellent, superb food with always something a little different from the ‘norm’
Barman today a new chap , didn’t catch his name but possibly Italian (hopefully I’m not wrong but please no offence if I am) but he is brilliant, efficient and charming and likewise the wonderful Becky who was our waitress today and also on a previous occasion and clearly she has a gift for the job and not just dialling in her duties; superb!
My partner Alison and I both had chicken Rigatoni which more than matched the service

Great stay !

We were a group of men walking in the area and stayed for 2 nights. Michael was very helpful from beginning to end a very friendly welcome showed how we would enjoy our stay. The rooms weren’t the largest but were clean and comfortable- just ideal .
Well located in the middle of Oundle with plenty of car parking.
