Amazing

Beautiful pub and the rooms are amazing, you can clearly see a lot of time, effort and thought has gone into this place. Only stayed one night but wish it was more. Highly recommend

Would Stay Again But a Few Changes Will Make All the Difference!

We did not eat here but will next time if we get the chance. Nice welcome from the attentive staff. Very nice clean room, comfortable bed, plenty of space.
Everything looked new, great modern bathroom and shower.
Feedback:
Not sure why it’s called a B & B, as no breakfast was offered. A restaurant with rooms would be more appropriate. Some tv / dab radio in the room would be an expected facility along with tissues. The biggest issue however was the lack of light. It was very dark and my wife struggled massively to get ready. The amount of lamps and lights available needs to double. There are plenty of spaces to add more light.

Best seafood

Always 100% food amazing and staff very welcoming rib-eye exceptional and scallops also had sea bream the sauce is incredible, we love eating here highly recommend great value for money but def doesn’t compromise on quality of produce… no complaints at all

A lovely, well priced lunch in a beautiful pub

A beautiful pub we have been dying to try for a long time. We always drive past on the way to Cowbridge and think what a lovely pub it looks! The outdoor seating in front of the pub is really lovely. It has the sun all day and has umbrellas for those who’d rather the shade. We sampled the lunch menu which we thought was really well priced for an upmarket pub (2 courses £22.50, 3 courses £27.50). A good variety of options and the food was absolutely delicious. The deco inside the pub is very homely yet modern. I rarely write reviews but wanted to make sure I did for this pub. A special mention for Tamsin, our waitress, who was really bubbly and friendly. It was lovely to receive service with a smile! She made our visit all the more wonderful, so thank you x

Well Worth a visit….food excellent!

We ate in the restaurant ….it is under new management .
The menu was comprehensive and the dishes we were served were delicious. Good fresh seafood , local steak beautifully presented. The restaurant was clean and welcoming and the outside beer garden clean and well kept.
Reasonable set menu for £25.50 for two courses, amply portions . We felt we had all had a good meal.
No complaints but a note to the owners /managers…..is it would be a better if the restaurant wasn’t full of baby and toddler paraphernalia and your waiting staff were a little more on the ball.
