We stayed one night on a bed, breakfast and dinner rate.
We loved our room. The dinner and service were excellent.
The breakfast was good.

I would gladly stay at the Antelope again, but not in the summer heat. The rooms do not get good airflow and they are HOT. Thankfully the staff gave us a fan. Otherwise, the rooms are smallish but not uncomfortably small, and the bathroom was roomy. Everything was clean and working properly. As we are American we appreciated the shower curtain! We absolutely loved the restaurant and bar— great food, drinks, ambiance and staff.

Loved this hotel. Located in the old town of Poole Quay. Lots of pubs and restaurants to choose from as well as the Antelope itself where we had a lovely lunch. Room was lovely. Bed was super comfortable. We stayed in room 8. Be aware this room had a bath but no shower. Room did not have aircon which we didn’t have an issue with as not sure the room ever got hot. Hotel did not have its own car park. There are two multi story 24/7 car parks both within a 3 minute walking distance. Note that one car park was a bit tight for a large vehicle but other one was no problem. Would like to mention the friendly bar lady (did not get her name but she was a senior lady the same as me) who could not do enough for us. We wished we’d booked for longer and will definitely be back.

A very nice hotel, lovely room at a very reasonable price. Good bar and lovely food also reasonably priced. Staff very friendly. Right next to the museum and around the corner from the quay with a short walk to Lighthouse arts centre.

Brilliant location for Poole Quay. Family room spacious, quiet and clean. Disappointing there was no view out of windows not even a glimpse as totally blocked by white permanent shuttering. I don't care if the view is not great but too see the sky would be good. I'm sure there is good reason why shuttered as doesn't make sense otherwise. If the room hadn't have been so spacious, we would have felt quite claustrophobic.
Staff very friendly. A warm welcome upon arrival and at breakfast. Cooked breakfast very good and my daughter really enjoyed the continental. Excellent choices especially all the fresh fruit. Nice coffee. This was our second stay at Antelope and will be back for a third.
