Renewing of our vows
Myself and my husband had our renewal of our vows here on the 22/06/26 and the staff made our day super special from start to finish and were amazing and always there when I needed anything when planning our special day would highly recommend anyone to have there wedding or events here. Tinto hotel is a stunning hotel and we can’t wait to get all our photos back. Special thanks to Chloe and Leanne for making our day so special.

Best wedding day!
From the moment we booked our wedding until the very end of the most incredible day of our lives, the entire team exceeded every expectation we could ever have had.
People always tell you that planning a wedding is one of the most stressful things you’ll ever do, but I can honestly say we never felt stressed for a single moment. The communication throughout the entire planning process was exceptional, reliable and reassuring. Every promise the team made was followed through on, and we always felt completely confident that everything was in safe hands.
Team Tinto didn’t just provide a service, they made us feel like family. Every interaction was so personal and thoughtful and it was obvious that they cared just as much about making our day special as we did.
On the wedding day itself, the team were simply outstanding. They were there from first thing in the morning until the very end of the evening, always one step ahead, incredibly attentive, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Every transition throughout the day was completely seamless, allowing us to simply relax and enjoy every single moment. A number of guests commented on how fantastic the staff were, and we couldn’t agree more.
A special mention also has to go to Alan from Biggar Picture. Not only was he an incredible photographer who made everyone feel relaxed (especially our wee daughter) and captured our day perfectly but he even helped ensure the venue gardens were looking their absolute best in the lead-up to the wedding. That level of care and attention says everything about the people involved in making our day so special.
Just when we thought the day couldn’t get any better, we returned to our room to find the most thoughtful little hamper waiting for us, along with a wee personalised message. It was such a lovely way to end a fantastic day spent celebrating with all of our nearest and dearest.
The team’s professionalism, kindness and genuine care made our wedding exactly what we wanted. We will never forget how special you made us feel, and we cannot recommend this venue highly enough. If you are considering booking Tinto for your wedding - do it!

Had a lovely stay in a nice quiet hotel
Had a night stay with shearings had luggage taken to our room by a young man tall with blond hair wish I got his name very polite. The room was big and so was the bathroom food was nice and staff where lovely shame it was only for one night
Some of the coach party had a moan at reception think some just do it to be picky rate it highly and food was lovely and breakfast

Stay clear of this place
Absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. To cut it short as everything was terrible Close Retrain Refurbish and get rid of those awful sticky tablets they expect you to use while having the most cheap and disgusting meal served by indifferent staff. Had to leave one star wish I could have left negative. The receptionist needs to ditch the mobile while looking at you when asked a question most unprofessional

Tasty lunch
