We had a fantastic stay. The Devon Court is a wonderful venue. The owners clearly care very much about their guests and business.
We used the pool which is a heated. The breakfast was generous with plenty of tea, coffee and juices with cereals and pastries on offer as well as yoghurts.
We very much enjoyed the morning jokes.

Excellent little hotel

Stayed for one night at The Devon Court Hotel when working in the Torquay area. Hotel is well placed just a short walk back from the seafront. Nice and quiet. Room was lovely, everything spotlessly clean. Nice walk in shower (electric but plenty of power)
The hosts, Kyla and Martin were lovely, very pleasant and very helpful
Separate small bar, nice little dining area and breakfast was very good
Hotel has a nice open air swimming pool at the front. Looked nice. I’m told it was heated but didn’t try it !
WiFi very good.
Plenty of parking
All in all, a lovely little place to stay
Would definitely be happy to stay here again whether when working or on a break

A great hotel to visit.

We have just returned from a wonderful night at the Devon Court Hotel. It was very much an impromptu decision and well worth it.
The hotel is immaculate. The swimming pool was spotlessly clean and I’m very good condition. My husband swims daily, and highly rated the condition of it after his swim. Our bedroom was nice and airy with great facilities provided for us. Tea, coffee, chocolate, biscuits etc. Also toiletries were provided The towels were really thick and fluffy.
The breakfast was amazing with wife variety of choice and very good quality food. The owners were very accommodating. We are now considering what month to return as we want to make this a regular hotel to visit.
I would highly recommend this hotel. Well worth a stop.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was well presented, the host was very helpful and made us feel at home. Room was excellent and the breakfast choice was just what we needed. Dinner next door was a bonus.

A couples getaway

The location was perfect . In a quiet road just 10 minute walk from the seafront. We had the signature room and it was clean and bright with a sea view. Check in was easy and Martin cooked a lovely breakfast. Including breakfast it was good value, on par with most of the other decent hotels but we prefer the charm of a smaller family run business as I think you get that personal touch. We stayed for just one night as we were seeing a show at the Princess Theatre which was abut 10 minute walk so perfectly situated.
