Close to Portree

Good location just over a mile from Portree Town. Comfortable room and facilities. Great view across the bay. As it is now room only (no longer B&B) the rooms could do with a little more kit e.g. bowls for breakfast. Shared fridge available.

Pleasant surprise in Portree!

Excellent accommodation. Located 5 m by car from the center, it is silent and with stunning views. The hosts were very friendly and available. Room no. 1 was very large, clean and welcoming. Everything is very new. Good bed, bathroom linen and bed of great quality. Breakfast in the room, delicious and diverse.
I strongly recommend!

Beautiful views & a lovely stay

Perfect position for our stay on beautiful Skye. Received a warm welcome from the lovely hosts, everything was well explained upon check-in with some handy tips that were appreciated and then we were off exploring, you can come and go as you please here and no worries with regards parking spaces or such like which was great. It felt chilled here and I appreciated the proximity to Portree whilst being surrounded by gorgeous views, sheep grazing outside my bedroom window and lovely peace. We had a twin room (doubles were full when I booked, but there are some) comfy beds, nice bedding, lovely decor and beautifully clean rooms with a powerful shower, kettle, coffee maker - we had everything we needed. I thought the finishing decor touches in this room really made it feel special, the pictures, the little vases of flowers - just so nice. There are plenty of tea and coffee and water supplies outside the room so you can top up if you need. We were so glad we opted for the breakfast add on, it was delicious and delivered to our room at a time convenient to us. Best creamiest overnight oats with delicious fresh fruit and I pretty much grazed the day out on that breakfast tray, it was really generous. Thank you for the recommends too Tor View, we visited Plockton on the way back and it was great, if you hadn’t said we wouldn’t have known about this place. I can’t wait to re-visit Skye, perhaps at a quieter time of year too but I would definitely return to Tor View. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay.

Fall in love all over again at the Tor View B&B

Beautiful views, comfortable accommodations, thoughtful owners, quiet surroundings, and delicious breakfast trays every morning are what you can expect when you stay at the Tor View. What a gem in one of the most gorgeous places in the world.

Comfy well located property

Comfy rooms, well appointed, clean, comfy beds. Quiet location just outside Portree which was most welcome. Murdo, the owner, was friendly and engaging with helpful local advice. We were disappointed his wife did not engage us at all on the occasions we saw her around the house. It did seem a bit unfriendly. Would have liked a guest lounge so as to escape the room as we stayed there for 4 nights.
