Fantastic

Would highly recommend staying here, the staff are lovely the beds are comfy with proper sheets and mattress. I have been staying here for a week now due to working around this area, being here has made working from home a lot easier. Thank you.

Trip to Tregaron

The staff are friendly and welcoming. The room and its facilities are okay. Bed was comfortable and room quiet. However breakfast consists of cereal, yoghurt jams toast. Unfortunately the electrical sockets don't appear to be working in the dinner room area,so was unable to use the kettle or toaster provided. There doesn't appear to be any staff member on the property to sort this out. For the price point it was ok but there is room for improvement.

Lovely overnight stay at a very reasonable price.

We booked this accomodation last minute as we had been let down by another property. It is dog friendly with a number of other guests also like us having their pet with them. We were greeted by a friendly member of staff and shown our room above the pub. She warned us that there would be live music later in the evening which could be loud. The room was lovely with en-suite together with orange juice, water and coffee & tea making facilities. An added bonus was biscuits and crisps. We had a delicious Surf and Turf meal downstairs and the bar prices were very reasonable. All the locals were very friendly chatting to us and the music was very good as well. To some up this was very cheap (they should probably charge more) and we had a wonderful evening there. But if you do not like loud noise it would be best to avoid. We were there on a Saturday night.

Pleasant stay friendly and accommodating staff/owners

Really decent place. Me and a friend wereTravelling through the town & needed a place to stay at late notice.
Owner was happy to accommodate us cheaply. Staff were considerate and more than helpful. We found everyone very friendly and would be more than happy to stay again when in the area.

Post Lockdown Visit - look elsewhere!

No social distancing in bar.
Locals illegally lined up at bar ordering drinks.
Language of customers foul.
Landlady / bar maid had no control of the clientele and did nothing to stop the language or ask them to socially distance.
Charged £110 for small room for two of us with no breakfast and no wifi (In fact told us the wifi was not free)
The room was clean but small, small double bed, and very basic. No table lamps, no biscuits with tea and coffee.
We only stayed the one night as we managed to get the other two nights we needed at The Miners a couple of miles up the road where we paid £75 a night for two of us with a beautiful cooked breakfast, as well as the normal fruit, toast and cereal. Unfortunately they were full on the Friday night which is why we had to stay here.
In the Miners the room was huge with a king size bed, two arm chairs and a lovely bathroom. Plus biscuits with the tea and coffee, plus a very nice freebie which went down well!
We will never stay here again and definitely would not recommend.
