Birthday at the oystercatcher

Chloe was fantastic, it was my birthday and we were treated like royalty with a great view and service. Give her a pint!

Looks fabulous

Sadly nothing our first booking was cancelled on the day of our visit due to kitchen equipment failure, it happens. I visited to have a chat to the manager and we arranged a second visit with slight discount for good will. Unfortunately on our second visit we were greeted with could we give our order as the kitchen closes in 10 minutes for some reason the chef would not stay it was just before 15.00 we were an extended family of Nine. We decided to eat elsewhere.

We appreciate your understanding regarding the initial cancellation and are pleased that our manager was able to speak with you and arrange a goodwill gesture for a return visit. This makes it even more disappointing to learn that your second visit did not go as planned.
We understand how frustrating it must have been to arrive as a party of nine and be advised that the kitchen would be closing within minutes. We appreciate that, under those circumstances, choosing to dine elsewhere felt like the best option for your family.

Could do with a hoover under bunk beds. Didn’t have all of the advertised vegetables with roast dinner and wasn’t offered any alternatives or discount. Service in restaurant and bar slow at times. Beautiful view of PolZeath beach . Sofas could do with a clean as water stains on them and a few more cushions on sofa would be a nice extra.Overall very pleased with our stay and would return again.

Great location and good space for family. However they didn’t tell us before or when we checked on that the oven and hob were out of order. We had bought food to prepare so very disappointing and it meant eating out. They didn’t offer any money back or good will when we asked.
