Amazing stay

Room was lovely ,had a choice of 2 on arrival, John was amazing ,realy lovely man ,breakfast was lovely very fresh !!
Lovely to have style with our stay ,beautiful house & balcony with room ,great complimentary bits too ,realy freindly .super value ,would go again .
Minty the dog was cute & freindly ♡♡♡♡♤ liz & nige

Not clean, but nice host

Host is very welcoming and a nice person, the b&b was not clean. It looked like it has been months since the windows had been cleaned and you can find cobwebs all over the ceiling and find spiders in every corner. When going to bed, two spiders ran over the bed which I needed to deal with before turning in. Online pictures are also seriously outdated. The biscoff cookie that was placed in the room as complimentary with coffee or tea was also more than 2 years expired.

Disappointed

The room looked like it had not been cleaned for our stay, all mirrors needed cleaning and the windows to the balcony,also the balcony had loads of cobwebs on it. There was cobwebs in room behind tv and radiator there was an old rag stuffed behind toilet and toilet door was not able to be closed the wardrobe if you can call it that had dirt on top of door, there was no hot water in the morning up to when we left at 8am we was supposed to have breakfast but left before this as my wife was to upset to stay it was a birthday treat for her.

John is the perfect host

Slept like a log in the very clean and comfortable bed with quality pillows. John works tirelessly to provide a friendly and caring service for his guests. Breakfast was good continental style, fresh seasonal fruit, excellent orange juice, fresh croissants and selection of cereals. John likes people and will oblige you to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Ignore the 1 star reviews they are not just.

A great place to stay

Only stayed for one night and it was lovely. The room was perfect with a very comfy bed, complimentary water, tea, coffee and milk in a small fridge - perfect. It was quiet and John and Minty were perfect hosts. Would happily stay again for longer.
