Beautiful place

Just got back from staying here and this place is a little gem. Situated in the countryside, it is very peaceful & in a beautiful setting. The room was very clean and well maintained. The bed was huge & very comfortable. The cooked breakfast was very good, Andy the chef is quite a character. All the staff were lovely. We would love to come back again one day .

Great B&B

Great little find ,
Very cosy, quiet room in a rural location.
Staff very welcoming on arrival (check in from 4pm-check out at 10am)and at breakfast, chef was a good laugh.
Only negative was that the tv didn’t have all channels only bbc1 seemed to work ok.
Room 3 - have to lift toilet seat up to close toilet /shower door .
Great tea and coffee provided (Yorkshire tea-cafetière coffee) nice biscuits and the fridge is a blessing.
Breakfast was great , the chef will give you a huge portion so if you are a light eater please tell him , the quality was very good .
I would Definitely staff here again
Just to add Great wi-fi throughout .

Old Selden Farm. Great location, super staff!

We had a lovely stay here, the buildings and countryside were lovely, the room spacious and had everything you need. More importantly everyone we met who worked there was cheery, friendly and warm. A lovely venue and we will be going back.

Nice - but the walls are way too thin.

The property is located in a very beautiful and rural area. The room is large and nicely furnished, a little worn in some places, but offers everything you need, including a refrigerator.
Unfortunately, it is not at all quiet at night despite the location - if you have neighbors. Because the room walls are like paper, you can hear absolutely every word from the neighboring room, which of course significantly reduces the quality of sleep.
The very good breakfast, which a very humorous chef prepares fresh in the morning, saves the fourth star here, which I had to think about a lot, however.
My tip: Definitely hike to the World's End Pub in the evening; it's a quiet hike and the food there is sensational!

The only issue we had was with the TV in the room. Half an hour before kick off in the England Croatia game I discovered that a previous guest had reprogrammed the TV so there was no ITV channel.
Fortunately I was able to watch it on my iPad!
