Love A Premier Inn

We are big fans of the Premier Inn chain, they provide affordable rooms & in good locations. The rooms are always well presented, clean & full of the key amenities such as plug sockets etc.
This hotel was no different, the venue was clean, well presented with plenty of free parking.
The staff were friendly and always happy to help.
The onsite Beefeater restaurant was excellent, providing a range of good evening meals and breakfast.
The location, whilst out of the city centre was very handy for the main motorways.

Grateful

Stayed for my 21st birthday, really enjoyed it, it’s was so nice and welcoming for them to do all the room up for me even to my little presents they gave me, would recommend it and will go back to there.

Rude restaurant staff and sweltering heat

The hotel staff were great, really friendly and helpful. As were the younger staff in the restaurant. But the staff in the restaurant (the one with long blond hair and the bald one) were incredibly rude, throwing menus at us, had very little knowledge of allergies and dietary requirements (despite wearing badges reading 'ask me about allergies'). The breakfast was the usual budget hotel food. The room was incredibly hot even though the weather was cloudy and windy. There seems to be an issue with the hotel heating system. We both slept badly. The room was full of dust and the bathroom caked in mould.

Retirement meal family

Nicely situated for visiting York. Good accomidation. Visited many times. Will miss the Brewers fair pub. Bus service near by for Park and ride

Not a good stay

Rooms were very shabby, dirty and not renovated, the camp bed my son slept on was uncomfortable and had a stained sheet on it covered by the pillow. There was no receptionist when we arrived and the check in did not include the car check in which was in a different area. When we forgot to check the car in no-one helped with the potential of getting a ticket. I wouldn't use this premier inn again.
