Very comfortable
On my very first trip to the Czech Republic, I had the pleasure of being taken to visit Cesky Krumlov by my friends who live in Prague. We decided to stay overnight in Cesky Krumlov and selected Pension Teddy for its convenient location on Rooseveltova (street). My friends’ dog was also welcome to stay with us at Pension Teddy. Parking is also available on the street outside.
We had a room on the ground floor, with ensuite bathroom and toilet, which was nicely furnished and very comfortable. It had a lovely view overlooking the Vltava River. It was also handy to the breakfast room on the ground floor. The breakfast buffet was quite generous and the fresh coffee was plentiful.
Pension Teddy is located within the World Heritage area of Cesky Krumlov and is easily accessible to all tourist attractions in the old town. I would be happy to recommend Pension Teddy.

info not quite right with reality
The rooms we had were on the basement floor. Rooms were clean. Staff (phone have helped us well). There was a lady at the reception, communication between colleagues towards us was rather contradictory.
In room 1, the shower / sink / toilet was clogged. When you showered, brown sewage came back up and when you flushed the toilet, the water came up.
Breakfast was delivered in paper bags at the door on the floor. No place to eat.
2nd day we even had no breakfast because the car broke down. So we don't have breakfast either.
Good hotel to explore the city but definitely not more.

Comfortable affordable accommodation in Cesky Krumlov
Small comfortable guest house reasonably priced. Simple rooms with comfortable beds, TV and nice ensuite. Very helpful staff and good selection of food for breakfast. Easy to book and great communication via email answering any queries. Very close to town centre and in quiet location accessible by taxi.

Pros and cons
Pension is only 2 star not 3 officially. They accept only cash. Well located in the downtown, but pension has no parking place. 50m you can park but have to pay. Wifi is fine,but no air condition. Breakfast is good they serve hot and cold options between 8-10am.
Interior is nice, recently refurbished, old style. Narrow stairs to 2nd floor and rooms are quite small (4, 5 for sure).
Great view to the river and castle from the common terrace.
Water drainage was releasing water slowly in room 5...

Will stay elsewhere next time
Should have read the reviews here before booking. Cesky Krumlov is a really beautiful place. Pension Teddy is a very short walk to the town center and almost right next to the boat rental place so the location is good. Unfortunately, I did not ask for a room that faces the river. Our room was very small. We faced the street and it was hot while we were there so we had to keep our two small windows open at night. Cars rolling by the cobble stone street and people walking and talking on the street kept us up at night. The stairs were very narrow and difficult to navigate, especially with luggage. Breakfast was adequate but not great. We see the same cereal sitting on the table every single day. They simply put a plate on top to cover them after the breakfast hours. The drain in the shower was clogged. We saw many other pensions in Cesky Krumlov. I am sure one can find something better in this really beautiful town.
