Escape from everyday life

We spent a family celebration with overnight stay here. It was very nice. The owner more than fulfilled our wishes. The pension is beautifully located, is very child friendly. Can only recommend, even if you just want to escape from everyday life.

Plastic kingdom

Lovely spot. We stopped for a quick lunch on our way through the valley. However, I was really disappointed to see my soup (food was very basic) was served in a polystyrene cup, my chips in a non-reusable plastic plate and plastic straws also prevail. A let down for us all.

Lovely place for rest and refresh after a long hike

Situated in the lovely Oparenske udoli, it’s a popular place for hikers, bikers and families with strollers to rest and enjoy a simple meal with cold beer.
The terraced courtyard is beautifully landscaped, small stream runs on the perimeter, we found small fish and a turtle in a little pond.
We ordered our lunch at a counter in the courtyard, then when called, picked it up. Beer was nice and cold, served in typical glass mugs. Next to this restaurant are finishing works on what looks like a small hotel, I remember a long time ago a complete ruin standing there. It’s a welcome site.

Nice break on a tour through the area

Romantic house at the end of Oparno valley reachable by pleasant walk from Velemin, busy place, so the menu is simple but of good quality, we sat on the outside garden and there is selfservice only, however expedition of the food is fast, food was tasy and the portions were accurate

Great place for break during walk through Oparno valley

I visited this Pension for lunch during walk across Oparno valley and I was surprised by nice environment and great food. I had a shepherd's pie which was delicious and also rabbit which was also really tasty. Place was little bit crowded but waitress was kind and prompt. Service overall was good and fast.
