We loved it

Really nice place with little houses, but you can also just camp there with the tent or the camper. The little houses where clean, some of them have jacuzzi. It was easily approachable. Owners are friendly! We can just recommend it.

Disappointed, lack of hygiene

At the side of the road just before the Transfăgărășan so well located, it does not circulate bcp at night, however
the pitches are mostly sloping,
The showers had a very strong smell of sewers, or toilets , extremely unpleasant (for information campground operators empty their toilet boxes directly into the toilets, when you pass just behind it is an infection .the toilet woman has no bolts ,
Capacity of 2 showers and 2 toilets ( 1 for each sex) 2 sinks out of 3 did not have
d water and the only one in Cold Water Service only, it is more a toilet sink than a place to groom or brush your teeth.
No possibility , nor place planned to do his small dishes.
Safe positive point for bears electric cables.

A FUÏRE!!

Horrible!! A disgusting shower for a woman who smelled like peeing from a deplorable toilet that wouldn't close. No Welcoming bar bof bof ....the only thing that is good is the electric fence to avoid seeing a bear coming!! 110 RON for one night.... A little expensive for 0 comfort and nothing cleaned!!

Cabin with jacuzzi

We stayed 1 night at the cabin with jacuzzi. It is absolutely not worth the money. In the beginning there was no water, we had to call a couple of times before someone picked up. After the person came to look at the problem, he "resolved" it. But the toilet still couldn't flush. And the water pressure was very low. After more than 1 hour of filling the tub, it was still not possible to take a jacuzzi bath. Or even shower properly. The location is ok, but there are far better things in the area. Waste of money. It was by far the worst stay during our Romania trip. And probably the most expensive. Don't go there!

Absolutely not - we would not stay here with a motorhome again

Last campsite on the south side of the Transfagarasan. Reception (at least in the off-season) not manned. About 10 minutes after calling, a disinterested employee comes by, checks you in and then drives off again. 100 leu for 2 people, 1 camper and a dog without electricity. We couldn't find any supplies or waste disposal, and it wasn't possible to ask.
The Transfagarasan is a popular biker route. It can therefore be assumed that our incident is not an isolated case: In the evening, a crew of about 15 bikers came to the site and celebrated very loudly until about 1 a.m. A telephone complaint to the operator was unsuccessful and when we tried to check again, he stopped answering the phone. In the morning, one of the partygoers was lying in a sleeping bag on the lawn.
Our tip: Avoid the site and drive into the Transfagarasan - there are various options for free camping there - we also saw an official site opposite a hotel on our way through or drive on to Sibiu.
