Do not even think about this place. It's truly awful

This hotel was advertised with a bar (there is no bar). In fact there is not even a kettle in the room. The duvet was shoved in the bottom of the wardrobe and only one toilet roll for 5 days until we complained. The state of the room was awful. Unclean shower, curtain hanging off and alcatrave hanging off the walls. We had one thin pillow each so sleeping wasn't comfortable. There were bare wires exposed in one electricity socket. There was no room service at all over our 5 day stay. The unmanned reception was used to store several cement bags stacked on each other which was not a good look. The stairs were badly laid and definitely dangerous for elderly people to navigate. My Romanian DiL called the non-English speaking owner to complain and was met with aggressive behaviour and refusal to compensate for the inferior service. A bad experience for our first trip to Romania so I would avoid this hotel at all costs.

Staff is dumb, not a nice place to stay.

Ugly hotel, rooms are very small, mattrass is shaped as a V, shower smelled like fangus, not all staff spoke English. When we asked how far it was to Transfagarasan, they told us it was a 3 hours drive, stupid folk. It's nearby, like 20 min away! We only stayed here to rest before heading to Transfagarasan.
Also far from the city centre and neighbourhood can be scary at night. Room had airco, but the airco was making an annoying beep when turned on. You can park your car at the street.
Would not stay here again.

Only if no alternative

Came here a couple of times for "mommy and daddy" activities. The rooms are pretty small and confined, you get the sensation of a prison cell...very small window, not very clean, smells of "old".
As value for money, i would give it 4/5

Place for one night only

As in the title it's a place for one night only. Hostel is equipped with airconditioning in rooms. There is a kind and helpfull staff. The most important drawback is damaged furniture and equipment, slightly uncomfortable beds and unfinished renovation of bathrooms.

Mmm... No

A little bit more out of centre rispect how declarated on line, the room are small and not so clean. Little window and everything smell like chips.
But the wrost thing is the personel: not prepared not professional and rude.
During the night they argue and discuss with other guests for payment problem in front of my door.
