A peaceful stay in the City Centre

It felt like a place of calm within the hustle and bustle of the City. The rooms were basic, but beds very comfortable, spacious and working Aircon. Hot shower. Towels provided. Lovely inner courtyard. We didn't get the opportunity to eat here but they did serve breakfast and meals for an extra cost. The staff were all lovely. They arranged our pick up from the airport. We booked via email and communication was excellent via email and WhatsApp. Gigi was excellent with recommendations and was a real life saver helping us get our lost luggage back from the airport and then arranging a driver for us when there was a transport strike. She really went above and beyond. I'm so glad we booked here as it felt so safe and Gigi really helped us through some struggles!

Hotel not managed and unpleasant

Hotel ideally located but not to be scrupulously avoided! The heiress is never there, the service is dismal and the rooms are rotten.

A charming little hotel to discover....

A very centrally located hotel that will allow you to discover Dakar.
This hotel is a very nice listed building with a beautiful patio.
Very welcoming staff and very available.
You can eat on site at any time of the day a simple but very good cuisine.
The rooms are simple but comfortable.
Very good value for money.

Did they know we were coming?

The staff were amazing when they found out the issues we faced upon check in.
Location is great.
Beautiful courtyard and wall murals.
Upon check we found that even though booking months in advance that we got two beds (put together) to make one instead of two as requested.
No towels available in the room. Toilet seat broken.
When asking the staff it was joked that ‘we didn’t know you were coming’
No cash machine as advertised (they had to get some man to come in and exchange money)
The mosque is extremely loud when you have a room near it to the right hand side.

Good hotel in the center of Dakar

Good hotel in the center of Dakar, well located.
Very clean, well-maintained hotel, very comfortable, very warm welcome, good quality on-site catering in the shaded patio, recommended for an arrival in Dakar.
Good value for money, recommended
