Super hotel!

From the moment we walked into the reception area, we felt welcome. Anselma warmly greeted us and was so kind and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable and reasonably priced. Breakfast at the restaurant was very good.

"welcoming staff"

Centrally located hotel in Komarno near the pedestrian zone. Staff really very nice and helpful. Room very spacious but not spotless. Very far from the reception with no wifi signal. Basic breakfast with few options.

Breakfast is too expensive and room is worn out

It really should deserve 2 dots, not more - but bathroom is new and if you avoid breakfast (overpriced, for a little more you can have dinner...) ... rate can be considered medium slot and they have good emails answering.
The room is worn out, chairs should be replaced immediately. The sad plastic flowers, thrown in the litter bin.
Searching for a plug to recharge my mobile, I had to move the bed side table ... to find out huge rolls of dust...
We had the feeling that other guests had a lower rate, but we may be absolutely wrong.

Loved everything about this hotel

Loved our stay here on our cycle trip Vienna to Budapest. Nice warm welcoming check in. Cycles were put in the secure garage.
Small family run hotel but high quality service.
Very pleasant room spacious and light. With a relaxing area with a chair with a balcony although the other rooms did have larger balcony areas.
The bathroom was very modern and high quality refit.
Very pleasant courtyard to sit and have a drink comfortable chairs and sofas around a water feature and beautiful plants. Very relaxing.
It was a short walk to the main square and small centre. Everything shuts down early evening.
Therefore we choose to eat at the Hotel Banderium was not disappointed. beautiful food.
Goose liver with apple purée sweet toast and honey with noble wine reduction. Our mains were stuffed chicken with cheese and spinach in bacon robe green pepper sauce and croquette and I had the slow roasted duck with raspberry sauce and duchess potatoes. All the food was delicious presented extremely well and top quality produce used and amazing flavours. Throughly enjoyed our meals here in fact my favourite from the whole trip.
Enjoyed breakfast in the morning just right to start our next day cycling.
Perfect stay . Couldn’t ask for more. Loved it.

Perfect stay

Within a short walk of the town centre and set round a small courtyard this is a really convenient and welcoming small hotel. We stayed overnight on our recent cycle trip along the Danube, The receptionist gave us a warm, friendly welcome and showed us where to store our bikes. Our room was more like a mini suite with a dressing area, large bathroom, spacious bedroom and a small balcony overlooking the hotel courtyard. It was immaculately clean and very comfortable. We had booked half board and the set meal was delicious and it was nice to eat outdoors in the courtyard surrounded by beautiful plants and a fountain. Breakfast was good with a reasonable choice of fare.
