Great time in nature
We had a very good time in this hotel with best wellness i ever had. Bikes can be rented for 5 euros/5 hours with helmet for 2 euros. Riding on the horse with instructor 17 euros/45 mins. Rooms are very clean, bathroom with shampoo, cotton buds and pads. No fridge in the room. There are glasses and wine opener.Breakfast and dinner delicious with fruit. Great place for little kids, bouncy castle, outside playground, fishing pond and a shop with local products in yard. Highly recomnended ! Viglas castle 20 mins of walking.

Terrible Experience - Complete Lack of Organization and Accountability
We booked a horse ride at Masarykov Dvor weeks in advance, looking forward to a great experience as our kids had a fantastic time last year riding the pony named Pedro. Since we don’t live nearby and were only visiting, the kids were especially excited about this.
We arrived 30 minutes early, paid for the ride, and took a walk around the property. However, when it was time for the ride, we went to the horse riding area, and no one was there to assist us. I left my kids and husband waiting and went to the reception where we had paid, only to find out they had no idea where the staff was. They told me to check with the horse barn, but the staff there were equally clueless and said they would make some calls.
I went back and forth between the reception and the barn, and still, no one seemed to take responsibility or even care about our situation. After a lot of waiting and frustration, they told us they might be able to find someone by 3 PM (which was an hour later). When someone finally arrived, they said they would do it in two separate sessions because of the delay, and even then, the person who started the ride wasn’t the usual staff member but just someone filling in.
The entire experience was incredibly disappointing. The lack of organization, communication, and accountability was astounding. The staff seemed completely indifferent to the inconvenience they caused. We paid in advance only to be met with the worst customer service imaginable. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unless they seriously improve their service and actually take responsibility for their customers' experiences.

Steak sous vide no more
We visited this place last year in November to have something special to eat for my birthday. I have a soft spot for good meat but at the same time I try to avoid ordering steaks in place I do not know.
I chose steak sous vide and it turned out to be a big mistake. They brought me piece of meat that was hard, burned outside and cooked well with a tiny strip of pink in the middle. In addition, steak came with some sort of brown sauce spilled over the meat despite that I ordered mushroom sauce. So, steak was not edible...and I was not sure how it had been prepared, certainly not by sous vide method.
I returned the dish and got something else. I regret that I haven't asked for chef who prepared it to get some explanation.
Anyway, Masarykov dvor no more.
When you travel to Slovakia order "local dish", be it halusky with bryndza, pirohy or pork schnitzel...it is common dish so it is served daily in large quantities and at least you have guarantee that ingredients are fresh and there is only small margin for error.
Do not eat steak in a restaurant that is not specialized in steaks or the place you know.
Beef is more expensive meat, therefore, it is likely to be sitting in the fridge or freezer. The latter is probably more likely.

Great for the kids
We only had one night here, myself and my two children. The room was large, clean and absolutely as described. Great for us as a family. The children were made very welcome and the staff were great. Esp the restaurant staff and the head of these spoke perfect English for me and was really helpful and kind. There is a lot for the kids to do, I recommend the bikes and the safe cycle paths for your children. No complaints at all

If you like horses and you don´t mind the absent room view, this might be for you
Liked · Cleanliness of the room was perfect and size of the room and bathroom was comfortable. Food what was served what quite good, with large portions. There is also on-site brewery. The surroundings are nicely renovated. The accommodation offers horse riding lesson. As we were amateurs, it was our first close encounter with horses. The hour consists of preparing the horse (cleaning, etc.) and riding in roofed hall. My horse did not listen to me at all (I consider it my fault, even if the trainer said that he has a personality), but it was fun anyway. Paying was somehow accounted already in the package. There was a wedding at the same time we were accommodated, luckily it was not being heard in our room. Room has AC, which came handy during heatwaves. The area is just kilometer away from highway exit - very easily accessible.
Breakfast offered gluten-free bread option for my wife.
Disliked · Room does not offer good views, as all rooms are having roof windows and the view from those is limited. Whole establishment is situated next to a main road, so it does not provide absolute getaway experience. Cars are heard, but it is nothing terrible.
About the wedding - I was asking upfront that in case of wedding, I want to be informed - because fo past terrible experience of not sleeping due to all-night-party in another hotel. There was wedding and I was not informed even here, but luckily, the room was on the other side and it wasn´t been heard.
We came with our own bicycles, and the staff provided us with storage for those bikes. But to access the storage we always had to wait for technical staff to open storage for us (and he wasn´t always available, and I understood that opening the doorway to technical room where bikes were stored wasn´t his favorite activity), so my suggestion would be to create better suited room for bikes.
Checkout is written in the on-site materials at 11am, confirmed by booking.com as well. On-site we were advised by receptionist that we should check out at 10am, as they have changed that recently. As we were having program (short biking trip) already planned, we wanted to check out at 11am as per description everywhere. Receptionists allowed it, and that is good But still, if they change a policy, must be reflected when booking it.
I don´ want to rate breakfast as due to hygienic restrictions it was not an open buffet, but we were served with the food without any options (so hard for me to judge normal setup). However the omelet was rather blunt. Edible though.
