Essential in Baztán

An essential visit in the Baztán Valley.
First we visited the mill and ate the Talos (very good) and then we visited the town, beautiful from the entrance to the walk down the street. The houses with their coats of arms and balconies with plants are super beautiful.

The best accommodation in the Baztan Valley

Staying in any of these apartments is always a real pleasure. We have already tried three (Auza, Gorramendi and Makit) and none of them disappoint, quite the contrary. This is the third consecutive year that we return and we are clear that we will continue to return, not only because of the quality of the accommodation but also because of the attentive and affectionate treatment of the owners, Juan Mari and his mother Felixa, who make you feel at home. The fact that it is a passive house makes staying there a sublime experience because despite being in humid Navarra, the environment is comfortable and dry with an optimal temperature and humidity for rest, and the availability of hot water is instantaneous. . The mattresses are fabulous, of the highest quality and the apartment does not lack detail. The views of the valley are impressive, in this sense the apartments that have large windows make you feel that you are inside the landscape. The location within the Baztan Valley is ideal for getting to know both the area and the French Basque Country, Pamplona or San Sebastián. It is close to visited places such as the Zugarrramurdi and Urdax caves, the Bertiz Natural Park or the Xorroxin waterfall. Elizondo can be found in just 8 minutes. In short, a place in nature to disconnect, meditate and relax. Many thanks to Juan Mari and Felixa for their attention and for their human quality.

I'll be back

We were in need of a relaxing weekend something fierce; could not have chosen a better place to make it real. The studio has absolutely everything you need (washing machine, dishwasher, induction hob, coffee maker, oven, microwave, fridge...) in case you do not want to leave it during your whole stay (just make sure to bring plenty of food).
If you're more in the mood to visit around (gorgeus and historical villages, amazing kind people, trekking, France is so close...) don't forget you'll need a car.
Also they offer the possibility to have an extra kids' bed if needed.
Since we're going through this weird pandemic era they left coffee and muffins for breakfast in the studio.
Note: Big spaces if you want to practice some yoga (even at the terrace if nice weather).

Estancia perfecta

Apartamento muy bien equipado y todo impecable. Vistas al valle espectaculares.
Admiten perros (sin suplemento )
Trato de los propietarios inmejorable y siempre atentos a cualquier necesidad.
Espero volver pronto al Baztán y seguro que repetiré con ellos.

Ideal para descansar. Pet friendly.

Hemos estado una semana alojados en uno de sus apartamentos y solo tenemos buenas palabras para ellos. Apartamento precioso totalmente equipado e insonorizado. Los propietarios súper majos nos dejaron un bote de magdalenas y cápsulas de café a modo de bienvenida. Admiten perros sin suplemento, algo súper valorable en estos tiempos que corren. Parking gratuito. Un 10 en todos los aspectos. Volveremos.
