Fantastic hotel in a beautiful place
Fantastic hotel in a great place. All rooms face the sea! Breakfast great. Dinner fine. Not always what we liked but everything fresh and replenished on time. Staff super friendly.
Cots by the pool do need replacing. Are all sagging!

Aesthetically pleasing BUT allergy awareness and service displeasing
If you go to a restaurant that looks somewhat aesthetically pleasing and quite pretty then 100% you have come to a nice place, but at best I’d say a 7/10.
The main point of this review is to tell others that the service was painfully slow, order was incorrect (and when questioned they refused to resolve), and no awareness or knowledge of what gets put in place for people with allergies (even though on the menu it says in English to consult the staff regarding allergies and intolerances).
Staff were slow, barely spoke a word of English, no understanding or prior knowledge of the word allergy let alone what specifics need to be in place to accustom.
Ordered a cheese and ham sandwich which on the menu say it comes with chips. The chips never came and the staff were not helpful at all about resolving this.
To conclude, if you want the bare minimum service and like pretty places…then this is the place for you.
If you have an allergy or speak English as a first language…don’t bother

Good and not so good
Very clean rooms, lovely cleaning ladies.
We have been coming there for years and the rooms have been renovated over time. As a woman, I don't think it's practical that there wasn't a mirror in the bedroom. Other rooms do.
Lovely air conditioning, large balcony with sea view.
Dining room is unsociable, I was only there with breakfast. My husband and son took advantage of lunch, which was better than dinner according to them. At night we went out for dinner.
We have used the pool a lot because there are so many stones in the sea. Such a shame the municipality doesn't do anything about it because we are real beach people. For that reason, I think we'll find another place next time.

Wat fijn om te lezen dat u tevreden bent over de netheid van de kamers, de vriendelijkheid van ons schoonmaakteam, de vernieuwde kamers, de airconditioning en het ruime balkon met zeezicht.
We nemen uw opmerking over de spiegel in de slaapkamer zeker ter harte. We begrijpen dat dit praktisch kan zijn en zullen uw feedback doorgeven aan ons team.
Het doet ons ook plezier dat u zo van ons zwembad heeft kunnen genieten. Wat betreft de situatie op het strand begrijpen we uw teleurstelling. Helaas valt het beheer van het strand en de werkzaamheden daar onder de verantwoordelijkheid van de gemeente.
We hopen uiteraard dat u ons ondanks dit nog een kans geeft en u in de toekomst opnieuw bij ons mogen verwelkomen. Hartelijk dank voor uw vertrouwen door de jaren heen!

Not bad, could be better.

Compared to several other 4 star hotels where we stayed, Les dunes falls short in some areas.

Recommended!!!!
Good hotel, nice spacious room with nice view, clean towels every day, bed made and room cleaned. Daily rich breakfast buffet with plenty of choice as well as dinner. Too bad there was also a towel plague here in the morning, seats are taken and no show. Frustrating! Also the hygiene at the pool was not top (overcrowded trash cans, garbage between the plants etc...)
Very helpful and friendly staff. However, I needed a prescription and instead of giving the phone number of the Belgian doctor (Dr Hilde Buyse) (at 10min v/h hotel) I was told that she was working with Dr Antonio from the Hospital Clinica Benidorm, not helped but having to pay € 176.40. I thought this was a mistake by a hotel clerk on duty at the time. Too bad.
