I had the most wonderful time at Ann’s beautiful house. The place is peaceful, cozy, and full of charm. Every corner felt welcoming and thoughtfully arranged. Waking up to nature and fresh air was a true delight. Ann was an exceptional host—kind, generous, and full of great stories. I left feeling refreshed and grateful.

Accommodation completely misdescribed on booking site

Poorly accessible location. Steep slopes to reach the house. Although the booking site said that there are restaurants nearby, it does not say that you have to go down 120 meters first and then up 120 meters again. Also applies to groceries. So everything has to be done by car or taxi. When we arrived breakfast in August was not provided. The kitchenette facility consisted of 2 plates and 2 forks. You really couldn't make anything yourself, not even breakfast. After an hour of looking around left again 550 euros thrown away. Later it turned out that the owner had entered that we had cancelled. As a result, we could not write a review on booking! So we had not cancelled but had left out of discontent. Booking has done nothing else with this. Very disappointing.

Fantastic Bed and Breakfast , Ann & Frank are lovely friendly hosts eager to make your stay memorable. Good breakfast. Beautiful terrace with views down the mountain to the sea. Hot tub a bonus. Super spot for walking the 3 villages of Competa, Canillas and Archez and some great restaurant recommendations from the hosts.
Will come again!

Warm hospitality with views of Cómpeta down to Malaga

Exceeded expectations. Warmly met. Help with luggage. Accepted by “FE” the owner’s lovely dog. Warm and genuine hospitality from Anne and Frank, originally from Belgium. Now running this true BED & BREAKFAST. High above Cómpeta with commanding views of this whitewashed, hilltop town. Breakfast was great, don’t missing the spec (ham) and eggs if offered. Room just fine, snooker table and terraces, Jeep tour on demand… I think you will love this spot.

Tranquil property with friendly hosts

Nice B&B with only 4 bedrooms managed by a friendly Belgian couple (Frank and An). Beautiful house on the outskirts of Competa with 2 terraces, covered swimming pool and a Jacuzzi overlooking the valley. The place has a homey and friendly atmosphere with many interesting decorative touches; it has two large lounge areas where you can sit, play pool, darts, read one of the many books available in different languages, play society games (also available) or simply watch TV. Breakfast is served in the lower lounge or on the terrace, with freshly squeezed orange juice, local cheese, home baked bread and eggs cooked on order. Parking available inside the courtyard. We enjoyed our stay and especially the friendliness of the hosts.
If you intend to walk into the center of the small town the distance is over 1 km with a very STEEP hill on the way back.
