Dinner could be improved
One day while having a drink, we decided to stay for dinner. The restaurant had not opened yet, but the waiters were attentive to notify us and gave us the option to stay at the same table in the bar or move to the dining room. They are always very kind. I had hoped that the iconic nature of this building and the wonderful location by the sea could be enjoyed in some way at the restaurant, but that is not the case. The dining room is pleasant although it is a ground floor with not many views; it is decorated in a sober and elegant manner but quite "normal" considering where we are. In this area, there are other small palaces converted into hospitality establishments that better convey the essence of how those houses were in their day, and some with sea views, so I was actually looking for that, although I understand that there are those who do not give it much importance.
What we found not remotely acceptable was the quality of the food. Except for the desserts, the rest was very bad. The fish soup was completely tasteless and had a very unpleasant gelatinous texture. The squid rice was inedible, dry, and hard, and I believe it was advertised as creamy rice? They themselves had very mediocre quality as well. Terrible.
I would give it fewer stars if it weren't for the staff making a difference. For example, upon arriving in the dining room, all the tables were set for four; they seated us at one by the window, and since there were only two of us, they took away the extra table but left me a chair to place my bag. I thought it was a very nice detail.
The quality-price ratio was terrible because at least that day the kitchen was not on point. Approximately €160 for 2 appetizers, 2 main courses, 2 desserts, a bottle of wine, plus the two glasses in the afternoon. In this area, it does not seem expensive to me, but only if the food is up to par.

Excellent location, though not quite the value expected
The hotel is very well located, with lovely sea views and a pleasant atmosphere. The décor is tasteful and inviting, and the staff were attentive and welcoming throughout our stay. Breakfast was enjoyable, with a good selection and a nice setting.
On the downside, I felt that the value for money was not quite in line with the price. At around €880 for two nights including breakfast, I expected a more spacious room and a more premium overall experience for a four-star hotel. In addition, although breakfast is officially served until 11:00 a.m., by around 10:30 a.m. several items had already run out and were not replenished promptly. The breakfast area also seemed a little understaffed.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay thanks to the excellent location, beautiful views, and kind staff, but there is room for improvement to better match the price point.
