central, well maintained, friendly - top!
LOCATION:
Quite central, easily accessible by airport bus (L10) or 10 minutes from the bus station. Good infrastructure: everything you need around it. Old town within walking distance.
SERVICE/EQUIPMENT:
well maintained house, good condition, everything clean but no elevator. Reception on 1. Floor. Very friendly welcome, overall all employees friendly and attentive. Internet free, stable and fast. Safe deposit boxes available at reception. For this category/price range good breakfast (included in price). Even a capsule machine from Lavazza! One type of sliced cheese, three cold cuts, surprise good bread selection, even walnut bread. Different types of milk, hard boiled egg, cakes, etc. It is always refilled/refilled. Reception staffed 24/7.
ROOM: I had a small room on the top floor, overlooking/into the inner shaft. For two people it would be very tight. Small bath. Room and bathroom very clean, daily cleaning. Room in very good condition, bathroom top renovated/extended. No suitcase rack, no large mirror (in some other rooms I could see some). And unfortunately there was only one light source in my room (above the bed). The area at/above the desk remained a bit gloomy. Another lamp would not be bad, would further enhance the space, even make the desk more usable. Building/room a bit noisy, especially because there is no carpet in the whole building. All stone floor. Then you can hear footsteps (especially with hard soles). And in the bathrooms where there is no window, the ventilations are quite noisy. You can also hear the one from the next room. But nevertheless everything is in the tolerable range. On the top floor the advantage that inside or outside, you get less of the ambient noise. Oh yes, a soap dispenser not only in the shower, but also at the hand basin would be a great thing.
CONCLUSION: I'm really happy to have found this hostal, at a very good offer price. It is a simple hotel but convinces with many details. Value for money is right. Friendly staff, great location, very well maintained, family friendly, breakfast included. I just have the above small complaints or recommendations. I would definitely stop there again, recommend it to friend and family.

This hotel is very cheap and cheerful, offering good value for the city if you just need somewhere to stop for the night. However, it is very basic and has several drawbacks. There is no lift, which is inconvenient, and no on-site parking. The room was small, uncomfortable, and had a noticeable smell of mould. The amenities are limited, although the staff were friendly and welcoming. Overall, it is a budget option that is acceptable for a short stay if price is the main priority.

Helpful and friendly staff. Great location, less than 10 minute walk from beach, in one direction and the old Town in the other direction. Included continental breakfast had enough choice for most. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend and stay here again

WE HAVE BEEN ROBBED 200€ while we were having breakfast.
We stayed at this property with the expectation of feeling safe, but our experience has been totally negative.
During our stay we suffered the theft of all the money we had inside our room (not in a common area). The €200 was stored in the fanny pack above the table, in a private space to which only guests, hotel staff and cleaning service had access.
The robbery occurred while we were having breakfast, which implies that someone accessed the room without our consent. This is a serious breach of privacy and a clear lack of security.
In addition, the hotel indicates that it is a video surveillance area, but on the floor where our room was located there were no cameras, which is misleading.
The reaction of the staff was even more disappointing: they initially refused to provide us with the claim sheet and showed no interest in investigating what had happened. They simply denied any responsibility without listening to our side.
We have had to file a complaint and continue to complain on our own, as the establishment has not offered any solution.
We do not recommend this property at all, especially if you value safety and customer service.
