Everything perfect

Family cottage perfect for lounging. Spacious room, clean, good bed and all amenities.

Great hotel and friendly service

We loved staying here. The hotel is located slightly out of the centre of town, but an easy walk back into town. The manager was incredibly friendly and made us a delicious and generous breakfast in the morning (8 euro). The room was spacious and well appointed, and the hotel was very well kept. I would definitely stay here again.

Two Hours Early is not ridiculous!!

1 - it took me forever to find the place. It is 2pm in the afternoon. There is a car in the driveway. But a sign on the door says,"checkin is at 1600. I am two hours early because I am walking the El Camino. This place is a half mile outside of town, which is very small. There were terrible restaurants. Why would I want to add another mile to my already long journey. I haven't even seen my room and I am ticked off. So far, I would not recommend. I am waiting outside in 29degree Celsius weather.

Great place on the Camino de Santiago!

Fantastic place on the Camino de Santiago. Not the cheapest option for pelgrims, but comfortable and clean and a great option to give your legs a rest for a day. Very friendly and helpful owner!!
A short walk from the amino, but beautiful views, a garden and terrace to sit outside.

Customer service left much to be desired

I did not stay at this B&B due to being cancelled 3 days before a stay, without any notice, after booking and paying for the stay 6 months ago. I received a call from the booking service telling me that they had overbooked and had to cancel. Again, 3 days before my arrival. Understand that things happen but a bit more advance notice considering I had been booked and confirmed for 6 months, would have been nice. I found myself in a new country for the first time scrambling for a new place to stay for my birthday night that I was supposed to spend here. All I received was combativeness from the B&B when asking why they would cancel me for overbooking knowing that I had booked this long ago. It was very unprofessional and with zero consideration to the customer. The only good that came of this is that, luckily, I was able to find an amazing hotel in cantabria that far and above exceeded my expectations albeit costing me 3 times more than I had anticipated.
