The hotel is situated in a very quiet area that is very affluent… However it is not far from a number of bars and restaurants… However it is a little far away from the action of Madrid… Hotel rooms are large and bathrooms too… The breakfast was thoughtfully prepared and presented on the common areas were modern and aesthetically pleasing… I would recommend if you would like to stay in a quieter part of Madrid than others…

Don’t risk it
A very disappointing experience at One Shot Fortuny. My husband and I stayed at One Shot Fortuny for the fourth time: our first three visits were excellent, which is why we chose this hotel again without hesitation. But after this stay, I am no longer willing to take the risk of coming back to One Shot Fortuny, because this visit completely ruined our impression of the trip.
The room was in very poor condition. It was almost impossible to use the shower properly: water was coming out of both the faucet and the overhead shower at the same time, flooding the entire bathroom. This was not just a minor inconvenience, but a real problem that made every shower an unpleasant experience.
The bathroom overall left a very unpleasant impression. The sink was so small and the faucet was positioned so poorly that it was impossible to wash your face properly without flooding the entire area around it. The wall where the towels were hanging was dirty, the walls in the room were generally stained, and there was a hole in one of the walls. For a hotel of this level, this is absolutely unacceptable.
Housekeeping was another major disappointment. It felt like cleaning consisted only of making the bed. Papers and small pieces of rubbish were not removed, and crumpled pajamas were simply placed on top of the freshly made bed. In a good hotel, you expect cleanliness, care, and basic respect for the guest’s space. Here, it felt as if the room was only “passed through” rather than properly cleaned.
In addition, my birthday was during this stay, on May 4, and the hotel knew about it. We did not expect anything grand, but at least some minimal communication or a small gesture from One Shot Fortuny would have been appropriate. Instead, there was no reaction at all, and no feeling that the hotel was interested in improving the experience of returning guests.
After three good visits, I genuinely considered One Shot Fortuny a reliable choice. After the fourth one, I no longer do. This experience showed that you can pay for a hotel you used to trust and end up with a room that is unpleasant to stay in, an inconvenient bathroom, poor housekeeping, and no attempt from the hotel to compensate for or fix the situation.
For me, this is the main point: the problem was not only the room itself, but the fact that One Shot Fortuny did nothing to make this experience better. So I would think very carefully before booking. I used to recommend this hotel, but after this stay, I can no longer do so. If you are not willing to risk your holiday and your mood, especially if the trip is important to you, I would choose another option.

One Hit Wonder at Madrid
We stayed at One Shot Fortuny for one night during our visit to Madrid. I would say that the only thing going for this hotel is its convenient location. Unfortunately, the building and the rooms are in need of a serious revamp. The corridors have visibly stained carpets, and the room and bathroom floors did not feel clean. The room itself was not particularly appealing or comfortable, and even the TV was unnecessarily difficult to operate. For a short stay in Madrid, cleanliness, comfort, and a well-maintained room are the basics, and unfortunately, this hotel did not meet those expectations. For my next short visit to Madrid, I will pass on this hotel — and probably other One Shot properties as well. They seem more like one-hit wonders than hotels worth a second shot.

Correct but no more (warm staff!)
The +:
- warm welcome by the staff.
- original decoration that changes but remains sober
- hearty breakfast
- location for business
-no complaints about the housekeeping
The - :
- very basic gym. Treadmill which is very damaged and unsuitable for use.
- limited breakfast (albeit hearty) --> no buffet, not crazy cakes, no fruit available
- shower vrmt impractical. The door lets water flow into the bathroom, the handles are re-lodged...
Mixed experience especially when you see the price at 200th at night... (700 if you come without reservation).

Nice and clean room, a bit small. Great location, very quiet, but next to lots of bars and restaurants.
