Beautiful, modern hotel
This hotel is very spacious, modern and very beautiful.
Check-in was very quick and smooth, staff were friendly. When we got up to our room in was gorgeous, very spacious, we were on the fifth floor, it had three double best, two TVs, two fridges, and a very gorgeous bathroom, our room looked out on to the street, I would have preferred a pool or sea view but it was still nice.
The restaurant was large but very busy as meal times. We followed the times it suggested in the lifts and on the check-in desk so we didn’t have any waiting to get in but we saw lots of queues to get a table.
The pools were very clean and constantly monitored. My only thing I would have liked here would be an adult only pool, as every pool was full of kids. I’m not a confident swimmer so the constant jumping in of kids was a little over powering for me.
We did pay on our last day to spend the afternoon in the sky bar which was unreal! Loved it, so peaceful, the pool up there was gorgeous and the views were outstanding

Great family hotel & facilities but far from Mojacar centre
GOOD - gorgeous hotel newly refurbished, beautiful rooms. Smart TV log into your Netflix etc. staff are amazing. Rooms spotless and beds are lovely as are showers. We had a street view room quieter than pool view. Onsite FREE water park is fantastic if you have kids of any age, I'm almost 50 and I went on all slides many times! Canabanas are free at water park - so many loungers at main pool no crazy rush for a bed. Outdoor covered pool and 3 other pools plus swim up rooms. International guests majority Spanish. Bus opp hotel into main resort or water park/ Garrucha. If you have smaller children just go for full board options. Stirfry showcooking is tasty! Good quality food. Good coffee machines. Very safe feeling round facilities as I travelled as a single parent with one.
NEGATIVES
If you're British may struggle with 8pm dinner if not full board - no pool snack bar such as burgers icecream van in waterpark closed in May holidays. Far out from Mojacar strip closer to Garrucha. One very small supermarket nearby Mojacar too far to walk for little ones so need to get busy/ taxi. Laundrette in town €10 wash dry. Bus €1.20. Entertainment limited and Spainish focused as we are in Spain afterall! Buffet good quality food very limited choices and very repetitive compared to Majorca / canaries 4* hotels. No dressings for salads no starters or smoothies at breakfast. Cava provides a t breakfast daily if that's your thing!

Nice hotel for a family
Good hotel. Food also fine in order fairly varied. Cleaning good. Spacious rooms. Good service. Many pools and beach at the hotel. Just fine.

best oasis tropical nock it down
went to the hotel room and found safe noe working, fridge not working, cooling system not working and im not sure how people like food but this was the worst food iv ever had. toilet for the first two nights. then started noticing different charges for the same drinks but informed them and nothing done at all. english complaining as we told. i have meds with me that need to be infridge and when i asked they told me to buy one. never go there again.

Nice hotel, shame about the management.
We stayed here as part of a Jet2 holiday and, up until the final day, were ready to leave a positive review. Unfortunately, the hotel’s handling of our departure completely overshadowed an otherwise enjoyable stay.
Despite our pickup not being until 4:15pm, we were told we could no longer access the restaurant after 12 noon. My wife explained to reception that she is a Type 1 diabetic and needed to eat, but the manager refused to make any exception. He didn’t even speak to us directly—his decision was relayed through a young receptionist while he remained in his office.
When we arrived at 9pm on the first day, we had already missed all meals, though we were offered a late-night plate. We also ate out on a couple of occasions, meaning we didn’t use the restaurant every day. Given that we paid for seven days of food, we expected the hotel to allow us access until we were collected, especially considering my wife’s medical condition.
If this approach is part of Best Hotels’ official policy, then sadly we won’t be choosing them again.
