A magical paradise in rural Galicia

With Casa Lourán, we got the lottery. I traveled with my mother, who turns 95 in a few days. We were fleeing the heat of Granada and Madrid, and the summer crowds. I risked booking 2 weeks at Casa Lourán and, in the end, we stayed an extra week. There we found a home in rural Galicia to return to next year. Casa Lourán is probably one of Top-rated establishments I've spent a season in. And I say that after living abroad and traveling frequently since childhood.
It should be added that, although Casa Lourán is exceptional as an establishment, the human quality of Ana and her family, as well as Cristina, is what has made Casa Lourán a home away from home.
There is nothing about Casa Lourán that can be improved, because Ana and her family have been perfecting the care for more than 20 years. In Casa Lourán there is no shortage of detail. But it is important to know that the establishment is located in a rural location, which is part of its charm, and therefore there are not many establishments nearby where you can eat or dine. However, Casa Lourán allows the use of the kitchen and dining room, if you want to cook and eat there.

CASA LOURAN XUNTA DE GALICIA

Casa Louran, beautiful country house furnished with great care by Anna's family, are very kind, super clean great breakfast. There is no problem for parking the car. It sleeps very well is very quiet. Pretty cool room.

We didn't want to leave anymore.

Exceptional! The structure is wonderful, a 17th century building beautifully renovated with modern rustic accents that I really appreciated! The host is very kind and very nice, always smiling and very helpful. You are surrounded by nature and tranquility. The breakfast is spectacular, all natural and the homemade cheeses are absolutely mouth-watering. Comfortable rooms and large internal parking. PLUs not to underestimate the beautiful and delicious dog that I fell in love with. The only advice I would give is to equip the rooms with a fan (which was definitely not there because the heat we encountered is not normal for the place).

Perfect for our Family in every way

Think we lucked out on our trip to Spain this year and Casa Louran pretty much represents why. This farm house has everything, animals, beautiful surroundings, amazing service and probably one of the best 'mini bars' you'll ever see - ie. They leave you with a stocked kitchen with an honesty form. The breakfast was astonishing - you sit in the kitchen whilst being cooked for using only local products. We absolutely loved our stay and will return next year.
