Excellent hotel
On tour, full board. Everything was perfect, large room, well appointed bathroom. No French channels on television. Impeccable free buffet meals and breakfast.....

Disappointing vacation
General disappointment. This is the third time we have come, this time without children. Very disappointed with the conditions of our accommodation and the included services. We lacked information at the time of finalizing the reservation. We stayed in a comfort room on an all-inclusive basis. IT IS NOT ALL-INCLUSIVE and this information is not easily found at the time of booking.
Buffet food was average... and with restrictions to access the themed restaurants that I find disappointing. Paid sun loungers on the beach, adult pool crowded with babies, very weak entertainment, and at night I was very disappointed with the entertainment program.
In short, without a doubt WE WILL NOT RETURN. POOR VALUE FOR MONEY.

Unresolved problem
We had not been informed (our mistake, our mistake) that the departure picnic was held before 12 noon. I arrived at 3 to ask for the picnic and was told it wasn't possible. Making 4 sad sandwiches for the next day... company policy.... I told them to refund me the proportional part of the 4 meals and they wouldn't do that either, the solution was for me to stay and eat, I told them I couldn't because it's a 10-hour trip and like previous years I was counting on the picnic for the route already planned.
Well, nothing, no solution, I don't understand how a hotel company of this rank allows itself the luxury of looking this bad with a client over 4 sandwiches and 4 apples.

Lamentamos que esta situación haya generado malestar. El picnic de salida requiere solicitarse dentro del horario establecido para poder organizar y preparar correctamente el servicio, por lo que fuera de ese plazo no es posible garantizar su elaboración.
Estas condiciones forman parte de la organización del servicio y están a disposición de nuestros huéspedes.
Entendemos que en esta ocasión el horario no se ajustara a su planificación de viaje, aunque se trata de una condición del servicio que debe tenerse en cuenta al solicitarlo.

I would not come back to this hotel
Disappointing vacation. Location next to the beach yes, but the beach access is not suitable for children or seniors. The beach has rocks and as soon as you enter there is a slope that is impossible to enter. Regarding the hotel, highlight the lines that form at the entrance to the buffet. It goes by shifts and if you are five minutes late they do not let you in and you wait for the next shift. Pool quite good. But in principle it has been closed yesterday, July 23, and today, July 24. You will have to tell me. No beach or pool. Very basic meals and of quite poor quality. The good things are the spacious rooms and bathrooms and the cleanliness is fine. Otherwise you are isolated without the comforts you expect for a vacation after working all year. Conclusion. I do not recommend it nor would I return.

Respecto a la piscina, lamentamos las molestias ocasionadas por su cierre temporal. Cuando se produce una incidencia que puede afectar a la calidad del agua, se aplica el protocolo establecido y la piscina permanece cerrada únicamente durante el tiempo indispensable para realizar las actuaciones necesarias y recuperar los parámetros exigidos por la normativa sanitaria vigente, garantizando así la seguridad de todos nuestros huéspedes.
En cuanto a la playa, sus características y condiciones de acceso son ajenas al hotel y dependen de factores naturales del entorno.

My stay at ZT Peñiscola was just ok. The grounds were very nice but that’s all i can say. The staff has an attitude. The buffet is by assigned times. I was given a specific buffet with a very specific time, with about 200 other guests. We all had to lined up in order to get in for dinner. Of all the resorts i have ever been to, i was never given an assigned time slot. Usually buffets are open 2-3 hours per meal and you go as you wish. The food selection was minimal and average at best. Most of the time it was lukewarm. The pool and jacuzzi are not heated, so that was also a downside. To be honest, not sure i would return to this resort.
