Total disappointment

Nefarious treatment especially for one of the waitresses we did with her check-in. The few times we have addressed her the deal leaves a lot to be desired and when we handed her the keys not one that has gone, not a thank you, it is more thank you I gave them for nothing. Ants in the room, tiny towels for the shower that we had to order large because you could not even dry one with them. Leave a lot to be desired so in case of doubt I advise you to choose another accommodation where they are more pleasant and give better care than after all is what we all seek.

Scammers

I made a reservation and got mixed up on the day. I called a few seconds after making the reservation indicating that I had made a mistake and that they would change the day. They told me that nothing could be done and that the payment had already been made, that they did not make exceptions for anyone.
I find it regrettable that this situation cannot be resolved when I notified at the time that the reservation was for another day, which did not cause any inconvenience to them.

Very bad

We received a tiny room no more than 10 square meters with no windows... for ONLY 150€ per night.....The room is the number 6 and is build within the corridor.. Simply unbelievable...Very bad experience. Never again

Reserved Through Booking.com And They Were Closed Upon Arrival

I made the reservation through Booking.com and late arrival, 10PM, was acknowledged by the hostel. Upon arrival, they were obviously closed (no lights, no sign of life, no cars in the parking lot), so I assumed they had not updated their status during the COVID lockdown.
I called their number at 21:47, just to be sure, and they didn't answer the phone, it rang 20 times before giving up. I have photos of the building and a screenshot of my phone call to prove what I say is true. What was I supposed to do, break through the bars on the windows or doors, knock down a door or break a window, and find a room to sleep in on my own?
I contacted Booking.com and sent the hostel a message because they claimed that someone had been there waiting for me and that I was a 'no-show'. They are running some type of a scam and I refuse to pay. The charge, €35 ($43), in-fact appeared on my credit card, so I sent the photos to Booking.com, disputed the charge through my bank, and will file a fraud complaint with the Rota Police.
I finally gave up, having a medical appointment at Naval Air Station Rota early the next morning, so I was lucky enough to find a hotel down the street, Hostal Macavi, which was obviously open and where I paid just €30/$36, for a very nice room. They were also very nice, professional, and kind, unlike Hostal Playa Candor.

Calidad precio estupendo

El alojamiento ha estado bastante bien. Un poco pequeñas las habitaciones con una gran terraza. El sitio súper tranquilo. Lo único malo para ir al centro cojer el coche está bastante retirado. Volveré por la naturaleza que hay ayi. Recomendado un 7.
