Boutique dog friendly hotel hidden away
What can I say other than stunning .
Beautifully decorated and amazing gardens . We had our cockapoo Norris with us too .this was no problem!
The food was delicious ❤️ will definitely be returning

Overpriced, poor service and an arrogant host
The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere.
There is only parking on site for a few cars
The pictures are not a realistic representation of the current state of the hotel, garden or facilities.

Breakfast was good,
Location was what we needed on an overnight stop on a journey down to Spain,
Bed was comfortable.
Disliked
Whilst this identifies as a hotel, it clearly isn't. We arrived as scheduled at 5.00pm and there were no staff, the door was locked. A person arrived a little later and let us in and showed us the room. We don't know if he was staff or owner but he seemed flustered. Showed us the room, which did not overlook the garden (as promised in our booking).......
He was the only member of staff we saw during our visit. Though his 8 year old sone helped serve dinner and there was a cleaner in the morning.
He served us a half-full bottle of wine ( we were charged for 3 glasses) and a bowl of crisps and then disappeared until dinner-time). He told us the restaurant was closed (despite receiving a confirmation for our dinner booking in our previous emails) but he could prepare something for us. We asked about nearby restaurants but he told us they weren't good and we should drive into the center of Zaragoza for dinner!
This was an omelette for one person, a tomato salad and some bread (35€). The 'tomato salad' was just a thinly sliced tomato. Ridiculously overpriced, but reasonable quality.
We were also disappointed that the pool was 2km away as the photos lead one to assume it is in the grounds.
Breakfast was extra, but nothing special.
We queried the cost of dinner when we paid the bill next morning (19€ for one or two large tomatoes, sliced and dressed in oil) only to be told it is a local specialty of the region. He seemed totally oblivious to our poor experience. We couldn't be bothered to argue any more, so paid the bill and left.
We were disappointed having read so many good reviews of this establishment. We're now suspicious that the reviews are fake.

A disappointment
First of all, when we arrived we were informed of the price of breakfast and taking a dog, telling us that we had to pay for it, although we had already paid. Fortunately, I had saved the mail of the reservation and I could show that we had already paid everything. Secondly, we had paid for a 30 m room, as we were travelling with a large dog. When we arrived we were put in one of about 15 m, making sure it was the one we had booked. I had to go back to the same email and show what we had booked. We were told that the name of the room was the same as that of the reservation, when you could see perfectly well that on the door it said something else. I went on the hotel website and found that indeed the name of our room was different and that it was 30 m2. It was hard to convince them to put us in the paid room, but it must be admitted that they finally gave in. From my point of view the worst thing was that they denied reality and treated us like fools, when we knew perfectly well what we had reserved.
I have to add that the room was not air-conditioned and that although it is indicated as a hotel with a pool, we did not see it anywhere. In addition, the photos shown on the hotel’s internet are from a long time ago, as it looks much more deteriorated than what they show.
Also note that the breakfast costing 18 euros is very basic, so its price is excessive for what they offer.
