second time staying here and overall it was solid! especially for the price in this area during peak season (august). the average temp was 80-90+ fahrenheit and we had trouble getting the AC to cool the place fast enough and the fridge wasn’t cold, just slightly cool. found a couple ants in the bathroom. but those are my only “complaints”. the staff was generally there if you needed help, the place felt safe, it was a lovely room with a balcony. location couldn’t be anymore perfect! you walk outside into the square and can see the cathedral, eat at any of the restaurants outside your door, and take the train! parking is tough and highly recommend renting the smallest car you can for mallorca in general + getting insurance cause the parking spaces are TINY. but that’s just part of what to expect with a small town so just something to be aware of.
overall 9/10 for the price and would stay here again!

Poor service as a result bad food

We did not stay overnight but used the restaurant. After we asked the waiter if they forgot our SMS we finally got the food served after a wait of almost an hour.
As 1st a hamburger where the fries were already cold next to, then for 4 people a salad where the chicken should be lukewarm / warm but also cold. The salad for the 5th person they apparently forgot. It arrived 15 minutes later, the other diners were almost ready.
No excuses could come off.
No excuses at checkout either. All this cost the grand prize. I understand it was crowded but don't open any extra space to let more guests eat.

RIGHT AT A GOOD PRICE

Historic hotel in the heart of the village. Great location. We stayed in an apartment in a building on the same square. Horrifying and dangerous stairs, but the accommodation was correct. Maybe with people, that is in strong tourist season, it will be very noisy because you have all the bars and restaurant downstairs. Of course the service very good. Clean.

This is one worst places I have stayed, no better than 2* hotel at 4* prices, with 1970s decor. No bar or place to sit, desk in another building, hot water that goes off, terrible access up a million dangerous unlit steps, no tea or coffee facilities, noisy early in the morning, paper thin walls, no phone, no contact with reception in the other building, TV that doesn’t work, no access to drinking water or any provided, drains that stink, unsafe electrics, no parking - just municipal parking miles away. This is not accurately described on hotels.com - which is probably the biggest problem - and many many fake reviews. 3 nights was 3 nights too many. This was a terrible stay - the worst. I feel embarrassed I’ve made my wife stay here. I was on to hotels.com in the middle of the first night but they couldn’t / wouldn’t do anything and no one at the hotel was available.

A lovely hotel in the centre of Soller

We had a great time at the hotel. It is conveniently located in the corner of the square making it easy to access everything you need. We were located on the first floor overlooking the square, but the noise of all the restaurants and bars was blocked out when the windows were closed.
The staff were all very friendly, chatty and very helpful.
Though the square is quite busy we found a number of good restaurants in the side streets.
