Hotel Leonardo Torremolinos.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic.Staff very helpful,a few don't have great English,but you are in Spain,make an effort to speak the language.Hotel exceptionally clean,pool area spotless,it's extremely central to anything you would want,you are talking 50 metres to nearest shop,and inside 5-6 mins,you have plenty of restaurants,bars,shops,cafes.The Calle de Miguel is about 3 mins walk,it's same to a lift that takes you to the beach,so long as you are prepared to walk downhill a whole 2-3 mins after that,down a narrow winding street,full of shops,bars,restaurants.Bedroooms really comfortable,nice sized balcony.You can get a late check out if it's available.I would say it's a great choice,but probably not suitable for younger children,it can get loud in the pool area with music and activities for a few hours a day

Very old fashioned.
Toilets near to reception very very dirty!!it was disgusting...
Bedding very bad!!!!!not comfortable pillows.

Hotel Leonardo? It would be more accurate to call it DRACULA'S CAVE.

I have been going since last year and the year before when it was the HOTEL CERVANTES and well, well, well, let's leave it at that. Now that it is HOTEL LEONARDO, they lower the quality of EVERYTHING and raise the prices. BATMAN'S cave where he comes out with his BATMOBILE is much more LUXURIOUS than this HOTEL. A TOTALLY DISASTROUS AND HORRIFYING EXPERIENCE. I think I'm going to be traumatized. I could fill four pages with the deficiencies of the HOTEL, but I am not going to give them any more publicity than they deserve. I am giving you one star because it is the minimum that can be given; otherwise, I would have given you minus one hundred stars.

The worst food in the world

Don't even think about it... The good: the location, the 2 pools, and part of the facilities. The food is HORRIBLE, I am not exaggerating. I stayed for 7 days and it was practically the same thing every day, the pre-cooked paella lots of fried food, every time you leave the dining room you smell like fried food, the desserts are mediocre and that is an understatement. Terrible waiters, honestly almost no one is worth saving. My advice if you have to book it is only breakfast, the rest is a waste of money .

In general the hotel is quite nice, the room was spacious and very clean, air-conditioning worked well , we had a small issue and the management solved it quite well , the food was a bit repetitive and lacking seafood. we liked the desserts and a good choice of fresh fruit. The hotel is on the main street where restaurants , cafes and shops are, we ate out a couple of times for a change and it was nice.. The only thing is the hotel is on the top level of the town ( which is on the hill) , there is a town lift , which will take you to the beach for 0,50 euro a way or a set of steps which could be quite an issue for people with mobility issues or push chairs. The area is lovely and easy to get to places of interest like Gibraltar,Granada or Seville
