Wonderful experience at Micaela Charming Hostal

We are a family group of 10 people. We arrived here on the recommendation of some good friends. The service from Pedrito and Héctor has been splendid, as well as from the rest of their small staff, very friendly. Exquisite cleanliness, comfortable rooms, some with a balcony and street views that make you feel like you live here. Magnificent. The ease of accessing the room with a personal digital code, just like the premises, is fabulous. Oh, and to top off the wonder, it is only 100 meters from the beach. Highly recommended!!! We loved it!!!

Amazing hosts. Hector and Pedro were so good and fast to reply on whatsapp. Coffee and water machine free to use in the lobby. We had a room with a yellow stained bathtub so that’s a bummer. We were lucky that it was rather quiet on the night but the morning was so noisy from the cleaning staff. They were vaccuming the hall and it was very loud. Also they knocked on our door before checkout to clean the room which was very annoying. They should check with hotel receptionist to see who checked out and if the room is free. Their knocking is rather shocking.

Superb location and great value

Very pretty Hostal in a great position couple of minutes from beach and lift into town,
Spotlessly clean towels changed daily, keyless entry which is great northern carrying keys around, friendly owner with some great tips of local area.
If we went to Torremolinos again we would definitely stay there

This 1972 establishment captures the essence of a classic Spanish hostal—providing straightforward, reliable tourist accommodation that prioritizes function and hospitality. For travelers seeking a balance between budget and comfort, it offers exceptional value without sacrificing the essentials.
Highlights of the Stay
• Accommodations: The rooms are surprisingly spacious, offering plenty of breathing room to unpack and relax.
• Maintenance: Cleanliness is clearly a priority here; the entire property is kept in immaculate condition.
• Service: The staff are a standout feature—warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful.
Location & Atmosphere
Situated in a lively pocket of Torremolinos, the property is surrounded by a variety of local bars and social spots. While the neighborhood's energy is a major draw, it does bring a bit of nocturnal noise.
Pro Tip: Pack a pair of earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. However, most visitors to this area aren't looking for a quiet sunset and an early bedtime—they're here to soak up the famous local nightlife.
Summary
If you are looking for a clean, friendly, and affordable "home base" in the heart of the action, this is a fantastic choice. It trades luxury frills for genuine Spanish charm and a price point that is hard to beat.
