Great hotel - would stay again
Great hotel in a great location. Rooms a little basic but clean and comfy - ideal for a city break. Check in friendly and helpful, staff very knowledgeable and able to make really good recommendations. Service, food and drink in the bar very good. Pool area was very quiet when we were there, and strangely pool was not completely full…Would definitely stay again if visiting the area again.

Horrible experience
We stayed at the Valencia Oceana Hotel with our family in August 2026, and unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing.
- There was a strong sewage smell in the rooms, particularly in the bathrooms. When we reported it to reception, the staff simply shrugged and told us that this was “normal in summer” and that the whole hotel smelled like that. They said no other rooms were available and essentially told us to accept the situation. Although we specifically asked to be moved, they neither offered an alternative room nor sent anyone to investigate or fix the problem. They did not even offer an air freshener—they simply dismissed our complaint.
- There was also no properly hot water in my room. The water was always lukewarm, so I had no choice but to shower in it. Once again, the staff did nothing to resolve the issue.
- One of the hotel’s three elevators was out of service, which meant we often had to wait up to five minutes for an elevator—or for one that was not already overcrowded.
- The queues for breakfast were also extremely long.
Considering that this is one of the most expensive hotels in its category in Valencia, we certainly did not expect such a poor level of comfort and customer service. I would not recommend staying here.

wonderful hotel
We had an issue at another hotel as the perfume in the vents was incredibly strong and I couldn't stay there. We walked into this hotel and I think (Pablo)? helped us get a room sorted. He was helpful and quick and nothing was too much for him. We booked a loft room on the 10th floor and had a beautiful stay. The room was perfect (and no strong smells!)

Average experience...
Aside from the friendliness of the staff and its location (close to the aquarium and the museum), the hotel is of average quality.
Upon our arrival, the extra bed and sheets were not ready (an oversight); it's not a big deal.
The bathroom could use an extra look during cleaning (hair tangled in the shower head hose) and the edge of the bathroom is moldy/damaged (sad for a 4-star).
Breakfast was okay but nothing special; we didn't have a table so we went to eat on the outdoor terrace (with a tray that was not very practical for serving ourselves).
The elevators are problematic... up to a 5-minute wait to hope to get one (room on the 6th floor).
In short, I find that the price-quality ratio is not correct...
However, we were able to leave our car for two days in the hotel parking lot for €25.
Once again, the staff was very nice!

The hotel is located in the very modern side of Valencia.
