Fine accommodation by the river

Nicely located on the river. Clean room. Spacious hot shower with good pressure. Beds are very hard even for SL understanding. Spacious terrace adjacent to swimming pool. Breakfast fine. Nice and welcoming people. Shops and restaurants close by.
Different water sports possible. Good price / quality ratio.

A facility for well-being

The perfect place to unwind. Beautiful view of nature, but only a few steps from the city. Cosy and well-kept rooms with thoughtful bathroom, enough closet storage space, refrigerator and cozy, spacious bed. The terrace offers views of the pool and the lagoon. Breakfast is rich and delicious and the family incredibly helpful and you feel arrived.
For active people you can recommend the rich offer of water sports. You can go snorkeling, diving, water skiing, or fishing. If you just want to relax and enjoy, take a lagoon cruise, or simply enjoy a soothing massage in the accompanying studio.

Typical Sri Lankan guest house

Typical Sri Lankan guest house.
Pros: Located on the river. Not far from the beach. They take you to the beach by boat for free.
Cons: The sheets are full of holes, the air conditioner hums like a steam locomotive, and in the heat it doesn’t cool enough. They asked for breakfast to go, they promised, but they deceived us.

Wow Wow Wow..

What a stunning place. Run by a beautiful family. So relaxed. Rooms great spotless. Food perfect, family as you expect in Sri Lanka so pleasant and welcoming. Took the opportunity to have a river safari which was brilliant sammy water sports 10 out of 10. So knowledgeable. Overall accommodation 10 out of 10. We will be back hopefully when the moon is full and the fishing is good

Lovely little place

Our first stop in Sri Lanka and after the trip it is still one of my most memorable. Nimesh and family made us feel so welcome staying with them.
The accommodation is a little villa situated right next to the family home on the bank of the river. The garden is lovely and the pool was great.
Nimesh helped organise water sports for us that picked us up from the garden itself, super convenient and lots of fun. He even gave us free tuktuk rides about Bentota, as well as great tips for places to eat/drink.
Would highly recommend staying at this place, no regrets
