An oasis of tranquility in a great location

We are staying at this hotel for the second time and we are delighted by the house, the location, the large well-kept garden, clean pool and the good food as well as the friendly and very attentive staff.
An oasis of peace, just across the road and about 300 m walk then you are on the beach.
The house is run by Elfi with enthusiasm, she always strives to fulfill one's wishes as much as possible.
You can choose between English and Sri Lankan breakfast and before that there was a selection of fresh fruits and various treats.
She also has tips for excursions and sightseeing.
There is also the possibility to be pampered with a massage in the house.
We would love to come back and be pampered.

Amazing Stay

We booked the entire villa via an agent. The place had 14 rooms. The villa was humongous. There were beautiful trees, and we saw peacocks and monkeys.
The rooms were pretty spacious and clean. The staff was really friendly too. The foreign lady who owns the villa is a sweet an kind person. We had a great time there.
We were allowed to use the pool from early morning to night. We gave the menu that we wanted along with the groceries. There was an in house chef to cook all the meals. The food was good too. They actually retuned all the remaining's of the groceries as well.
The location was really good. Its situated in the main road. Just a 2 min walk to the beach.
The only drawback was the pool tiles. Some of the tiles were broken and we got our feet hurt (nothing major though). Would be nice if that was fixed too.
Totally worth the price. I would give 9/10 for this!

Charming Backgrounds

I attended to a wedding party at this hotel, actually i have visited more than 3 times this hotel for photo & video shoot. it's very quiet place situated nice natural backgrounds, and the pool view is magnificent. probably anyone would like the charm at the hotel

Most awful experience ever

This is the most awful experience we ever had. We booked a day and we were told there will be no buffet but Food could be arrange. Soon after we went first thing we were told was food can't be provided we have to go out and bring food. Then we were told only two People can go to the room even it was a day room. After we were told they charge per person if we use the pool. When I called to make the reservation I clearly said it would be 12 people coming and we would use the pool. I was never told that they will charge extra for the pool. After we arrived at the hotel only they said there is no staff to provide us meals so we would have to go out and bring everything. When I informed the lady at the reception that non of this was told me at the point of reservation, she put me through to her manager over the phone. That lady was so unpleasant, rude and refused corporate in any way. She was the most unpleasant hotel manager I have spoken to also she accused me of lying. If you run a business with this sort of staff, soon u will run out of business.

A mixed experience

Good points - very friendly welcome and staff. Beautiful grounds and pool area, saw monkeys and birds whilst sitting by the pool. Quiet. Off the road but easy to find (we were self-driving). Lovely staff member offered to wash our hire car! 3 mins walk to the beach.
Bad points - dated rooms, hard bed, small pillow. Clump of dark matter and hair in shower, not nice. One-way glass in bathroom window seemed to be the wrong way round. You can't see out but you can see in!
Very weird musty smell in the room. Got used to the smell once in the room for a while.!
Breakfast wasn't good.
So, a mixed review...
