Charming guest house and very comfortable

We stayed during the off season at Seethani guest house and found the room and location to be lovely. We were the only guests and the restaurant was not open as a result but the caretakers were lovely and accommodating regardless. We staying upstairs in an airconditioned room facing the ocean with a balcony and fell asleep to the sound of waves. Total bliss for the price.

Happy, laid-back guest house, lovely rooms, great position on the beach - friendly and attentive staff.

We have just spent 10 days here with friends who come back year after year. I can't praise Seethani's highly enough. The rooms are well appointed and clean, four-poster beds with mosquito nets, fans and safes for any valuables. The guest house looks out on to a great spot on the beach. You can tell how good this place is by the fact that many of our fellow guests were also long-term returnees. Seethani's greatest asset, though, is its staff who are unfailingly cheerful, friendly and attentive. The food is first-rate and very reasonable. We won't hesitate to return. Thanks for a terrific stay!

Nice on the beach

The rooms are lovely, four poster beds with mosquito nets plus fan and a/c the staff and owners are really nice and food is good too, the a/c is extra but needed as it's just hot all the time and the sand gets everywhere

Great place to stay

We stayed at Seethani guest house for a couple of weeks earlier this year. The rooms are very clean, mossie net and fan, and the best value for money anywhere along that beach, and we looked at a fair few. The service is very good and the food is great, the breakfast is very good als. .i understand previous comments on the host not holding rooms but I saw many times them being let down by guests who said they would have a room and then not come back. A simple deposit would secure a room and show you were serious. They even stored our luggage while we went away for a month, free of charge.

Very rude host! Terrible customer service

We had planned to stay at the guesthouse for one night. We were informed that there were two rooms available. We were shown one nicer room and one okay room. We told the female hostess that we would take these rooms. The female hostess told us that the rooms were ours but that we didn't need to pay until we left. We went back to the beach, assuming we had a place to stay. When we came back one hour later to spend time in the room, she had given both rooms away. Apparently this is a common occurrence here. She will tell you you have a room and then give it to someone else if she can find a higher price. She was incredibly rude throughout the entire process. I would strongly discourage people from staying here. There are plenty of other hotels for a similar price range on the same strip of beach without all of the stress.
