Villa Wanderlust in Hikkaduwa – a true gem!
If you are looking for a place with a soul, away from the tourist crowds, Villa Wanderlust is the perfect choice! I had a wonderful time here and I recommend this place with all my heart. ❤️
Why is it worth it?
• Dream location : The property is situated in a very peaceful area, close to the picturesque Rathgama Lake. It’s the perfect spot to escape the hustle and bustle and truly breathe.
• A garden full of treasures : The house is surrounded by greenery! There are cinnamon trees, beautiful flowers, and... passion fruit growing right in the garden, which you can pick yourself! It is spotlessly clean and has a very charming atmosphere. ✨
• Wonderful hosts : The place is run by Irosh – an amazing, helpful man, supported by his lovely parents. You can feel the warm, family atmosphere from the moment you arrive.
• Culinary heaven ☕: The Sri Lankan-style breakfasts are pure poetry! But what makes the biggest impression is the coffee. Irosh personally buys the beans in the mountains, brings them back, and roasts them himself. It tastes phenomenal! ☕⛰️
• Conditions & Remote Work : The rooms are modest but very well-maintained and clean. There is A/C, and most importantly for those working remotely – great internet (Starlink)! It’s an ideal base for both a short stay and for digital nomads on a longer trip.
• Close to the ocean : A wide, peaceful beach is just a 7-minute stroll away. The perfect distance for a morning walk! ️♂️

• Ogród pełen skarbów : Dom tonie w zieleni! Wokół rosną drzewa cynamonowe, piękne kwiaty i... passion fruit, który możecie zerwać prosto z krzaka w ogrodzie! Jest nieskazitelnie czysto i bardzo klimatycznie. ✨
