We chose Paradise Village specifically because it is marketed as a peaceful, relaxing place to stay near Mount Rainier. Unfortunately, our experience was anything but, and I was even more disappointed by how management handled our concerns afterward.
What we were never told before our stay was that a large wedding would be taking place on the property. For hours that evening, there was amplified music, heavy bass, cheering, yelling, and significant wedding activity. At one point, a group of wedding guests gathered immediately near our cabin and were extremely loud. The event also affected the atmosphere during our reserved hot tub and sauna time.
My issue is not simply that a hotel had noisy guests. Paradise Village knew in advance that it was hosting a large event that could materially change the experience for other paying guests, yet we were not given that information. Had we known, we absolutely would have chosen another night or stayed elsewhere.
I contacted the property privately before posting a review and gave them the opportunity to resolve the issue. Management did not meaningfully address the lack of disclosure or offer any alternative resolution.
This situation could have been avoided with basic transparency. Guests should be notified in advance when a wedding or large event is scheduled so they can decide whether that environment works for the stay they are planning.

I had the cabin with no attached bathroom and honestly? It was perfectly fine. I’m a female solo traveler and I didn’t feel unsafe at all. The area was always brightly lit and the bathrooms were clean and maintained. It was so lovely to wake up in a cutesy lil cabin! Immaculate vibes tbh. Also great location in relation to Mt. Rainier NP!

Fine for one night but the shared bathroom just doesn’t work for me- but I tried. Also the guests for the event at the venue made the wait to use the restrooms very long. There should be different restrooms for the venue and paying guests of the Inn.

Disappointed

I usually do not write reviews although I felt others should be aware of the concerns at Paradise Village. The front desk was unwelcoming upon our arrival. There is only someone in the Lobby from 3:00 -8:00pm so if you have questions or concerns there is no one to talk to. My guest room was clearly not cleaned before our arrival. The bed wasn’t clean, the sheets were dirty and had hair in them. It was unacceptable and did not meet even basic cleanliness standards. We went to the Cafe in the morning and ended up sitting with 2 other groups of people due to lack of space. It took quite awhile to get our food and most everyone's food was cold when it arrived. The food was good but served cold. I did reach out and share my concerns with the owner and she seemed very concerned and said she would be talking to her staff. I did not read the reviews before booking our stay and wished I had. We certainly were not the 1st to have concerns about cleanliness.
