Room was clean, beds very comfortable. The bathroom set up like others have mentioned is not idea if traveling with say your 17 year old son. The open concept is good use of the space but zero privacy while showering.
We stayed while a youth travel team was on there from Macon. Tried to enjoy drinks in the bar late evening but the parents were also there which totally fine but the kids kept running around, in and out, yelling. Parents yelling at the kids etc… it was just a little much at 10:30 in the evening when other guest were attempting to enjoy an after dinner drink in a bar that’s vibe is a little more low key and posh. It was obvious the bartenders and staff were also annoyed but they weren’t in a place to say anything to the disruptive guest. Have stayed at the OG Old Edwards Inn - was hoping for more of that upscale service. Guest reps at desk were pleasant. Will return for UGA move in as we had already booked our few days. Hoping for an over all better experience. Stayed in a corner room right by the train track. Wasn’t as loud as others had mentioned.

My stay was uneventful. However, no one answers the phone at the front desk or the restaurant. Receipt not provided at checkout and had a $150.00 charge that was not explained. Had great difficulty obtaining a receipt and getting anyone to answer the phone. Front desk voicemail was full.

The place is beautiful, no doubt. However, this was one of the most awkward stays I have had at a Boutique hotel. Where to start?
1. $25 for valet parking—self parking away from property.
2. No privacy bathrooms. Awkward for non-couples.
3. Scant breakfast options. There were two pastries available and coffee. They didn’t even have whole milk for my coffee!
4. Bathroom electrical outlet was under the sink. You have to crawl on hands and knees to plug in. Terrible for anyone, especially”mature” guests.
5. The rooms are not soundproof. We heard our neighbors talking, flushing, and laughing.
6. Next to a train track, the room shakes thru the night.
7. The housekeeping was not thorough. Beds made, towels refreshed, trash was left.
I wanted to love it but there are so many awkward issues. The team needs to rethink implementation. The restaurant for dinner was nice.

Beautiful but has many functional issues.
The hotel is beautiful but has so many issues to work through.
1. Valet parking is $25 per night which is outrageous. Self-parking is located away from the property.
2. The rooms are not soundproof. We could hear our next door neighbors conversing, flushing toilets, and laughing loudly all evening.
3. The rooms feature the new, modern, but weird no privacy bathroom concept. If you are traveling with anyone you don’t wish to shower in front of, it’s incredibly awkward. We had to take turns leaving the room for the other to shower.
4. There is no real lobby or spaces to enjoy besides your room which makes alternating showers difficult. You can sit outside but if it’s raining, you have nowhere to go.
5. Back to the bathroom. The electrical outlet is under the sink in an awkward position. You have to crawl under it to plug anything in.
6. Breakfast is almost non existent. I could order coffee and 3 pastry options. They didn’t even have whole milk available for the coffee. I had to have oat milk.
7. Housekeeping was limited to towels and beds. The trash wasn’t emptied.
8. The beds are not that comfortable. I found them lumpy.
I’m pretty disappointed with this stay overall. It’s one of the least convenient places I’ve stayed while simultaneously being beautiful. The owners need to think about implementation.

We loved our stay here. The property is gorgeous and the rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed.
