This was a last minute stop on our trip down to San Diego. The property was great, the bed & pillows very comfortable. Julissa at check in went over and above when I asked if there was somewhere I could put our ice packs for our cooler with my husband's medication.

The room could have been cleaner. Fuzz on the carpet. Hair in the bathroom. Leaking tub spigot. Closet doors off track. Curtains difficult to open. Clearly, the room was not checked before reserving to a customer.
Staff was very friendly, accommodating and informative.
Breakfast not included in your stay. The breakfast area and bar looks nice but you have to pay for it.
The balconies are nice to have but should be inspected and remodeled or upgraded. The place is old and hasn't been kept up with.

Property hallways and rooms could do with a deep clean and/or flooring rejuvenation. Overall, hotel well and courteously staffed. Grounds are beautiful and well maintained.
Breakfast choices and flavors were excellent. Service by Sadie on this trip was excellent. Attention to questions and requests were quickly and efficiently addressed.

I had an amazing stay. My only two complaints were one of the elevators only went up and not down, which was an inconvenience for me having two little kids and an injury to my foot. And unfortunately, the room I was in the TV would cut off every 20 minutes. They had someone come up and reset it, but that did not fix the problem.

The room was clean. This is our 3rd year coming here as a stopover to another destination. Hilton never disappoints.
