Cute refurbished old hotel in an urban location
Nice comfortable room in a great location near downtown. Close to dinner and shopping. Cute refurbished hotel . Very secure entrance.

Bummed in Bisbee
We visited Bisbee for a quick trip, staying only one night which limited our options. We chose this hotel because it was over a Mexican restaurant, promised fresh roasted coffee and free parking.
When we arrived, we followed the instructions on the door to contact the manager for help with checking in, texting the two non-emergency numbers listed. She never responded. A woman in the cafe that is now below the hotel - not the Mexican restaurant mentioned - had the code to the main door but couldn't assist with our room check in. She also reached out to the manager.
After sitting in the small lobby for 15 minutes with no response to our texts, two men with a ladder came in to work on the AC in the roof. When they were done, we chatted with the lead guy whose name was Ron. We explained that we were still waiting to hear from the manager about our room. He reached out to her assistant, Jen, who arrived within 10 minutes.
Jen texted us the codes for the main door and our room, confirmed our reservation and showed us how to use the coded lock to enter our room. As she keyed in the code, we all heard someone cough inside the room! After no response from the person in the room to repeated knocking, Jen reached out to the elusive manager for instructions. We were placed in a different room that had a physical key in addition to the coded lock. Jen had commented that they were fully booked so we were thankful to get a room.
Around 8 pm that evening, however, the couple who had been assigned the room we were now occupying showed up and tried to enter using the code. They were understandably distraught to find us in what should have been their room! I explained the situation and reached out to Jen who told me to give them her number and she would take care of it.
We are so grateful for the help we received from the woman in the cafe, from Ron, and especially the from amazing Jen! They were truly the only bright notes in this experience. After we left, I texted the two numbers once more to ask the manager for an explanation or an apology for what had happened and some assurance that this would not happen to some other traveler. We have never heard from the manager, which we find disturbing. Hotels are in the hospitality business, and at a minimum the manager should be available.
As a side note, the description of the hotel was inaccurate. The free parking was city parking and was around the corner about 5 minutes walk away. The Mexican restaurant no longer exists and the only coffee available was a Keurig machine in the room. If we could do it over again there is no way we would have stayed here.

Double charged and unable to reach the merchant
I stayed at the Hotel San Ramon from Oct 30 to Nov 2, 2025. Upon completion of my stay I was shocked to find that my credit card was incorrectly charged for a duplicate amount for the entire amount of my stay. My original booking cost $760.52. The additional charges that hit my card were for $760,52, I quickly reached out to the merchant at the phone number listed in Google, only to find that the number was disconnected. I attempted to send an email to the address given in my reservation receipt, and that email came back as undeliverable. I highly recommend that you stay away from this merchant .

Great place to stay
This is a charming historic six-room hotel. Note I wrote "historic" so you'll be climbing some steep stairs. Each room is different, with high ceilings, and most have tall windows. Santiago's is not on ground floor -- it didn't survive Covid. It's very conveniently located but you might want earplugs on a weekend since people on the street can be loud.

Very quaint. Very clean.
The hotel manager was very kind and helpful. Our room was very nice. Very clean. Comfy king bed. Room was quiet. Can’t go wrong with this hotel. Located within walking distance of everything. We will always stay here when we visit Bisbee. Enjoy!
