A Suprisingly Amazing First Visit to Boston.

An amazing stay at this beautiful Hyatt hotel with a gorgeous view of the harbor. First time in Boston, and I was warmly welcomed by Chris at the front desk, who upgraded me to a room with a view, free eats at their delicious joint by the water, and a welcome kit as a Hyatt member. Everyone was so kind, from picking me up with a free shuttle at the airport, to the hot delicious complimentary "chowdah'. With beautiful harbor views, a comfy bed, quiet night's sleep, I actually wanted to extend my stay. The Hyatt Regency Harbor will be my go to when I return to New England. :)

Had a wonderful stay. The view is unmatched. The staff went above and beyond, extremely accommodating crew from the concierge, the shuttle driver, front desk, everyone was attentive, patient and very nice. Easy access to the airport. Location can not beat. Very minimal noise as well. Only thing i will say is the appliances in the room were a bit outdated. Our TV remote battery wasnt screwed in all the way so it was annoying changing the channel and our room phone didnt work so we had to go down to the front desk when we needed items. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Book this hotel for the view and proximity to the ferry, water taxi and the airport. Do not book for the rooms or accomodations. The outside area, the view and the restaurant (and that staff) are all excellent. The rooms and common areas like the hallways seem old, smelly and unclean. No WiFi our last night. No room service was available during our stay, with no explanation given. Nothing could be plugged in via the bathroom outlets, so we had to use the ones in the room. I did like the free airport shuttle. However, I won't be staying here again if I can help it. Outside or in the restaurant - excellent. Inside - icky.

Our room had two queen beds, but one of the beds was very close to the wall, so it would have been hard to get out of in the middle of the night. The A/C was noisy, so we unplugged it.
The location is great -- very close to Harvard Square. We had a rental car, but the lot is not big enough for all the cars, so ours was parked somewhere off site. Getting to the hotel involves a lot of quick turns because of construction and one way streets, but that's Boston, I guess. Parking adds $45 per day.
Breakfast was okay, and the servers kept an eye on our coffee cups to keep them full and hot. Pastries from the buffet were cold, Would have been nice to have a microwave at the buffet. Breakfast costs $30 per person.

Our one night here was great. Quiet and clean room. Grill had great food. Staff was helpful and friendly. Shuttle was great from airport to hotel and then to the rental cars the next am. Would stay again.
