Overall, we did like the property and the room as a whole. We didn't realize it was a front for a time share. They said we had to get parking passes after we checked in, which led to the time share offers. Overall it was a good stay after check in

Fine but protect your belongings (even in your locked room)!!

Do not leave any valuables out, even in your locked room! I accidentally left a piece of jewelry on the counter of our locked room one day while we left to explore Branson. During that time someone from the maintenance department entered our room to address a problem with the bathtub. When we returned the necklace was missing. I searched everywhere it could possibly be. It was gone. I even waited until we got home the next day to unpack everything to make sure it didn't slip somewhere unexpected. It had clearly been taken. The last thing I wanted to do was falsely accuse someone of theft so I called the Branson Police Department for guidance on how to proceed. They, fortunately, sent an officer to the resort even though I explained we were already back home but the officer spoke to a security agent and astonishingly, the necklace turned up almost immediately! Isn't that incredible??? The story I was given was that it was “found” outside our building and that a manager was even present to witness the discovery - what are the chances??? Almost as if this is a frequent occurrence… hmmm.
I know with 100% certainty that I did not drop it outside our building and while I am extremely grateful to have it back, it cost me $156 in insured shipping and handling to have it shipped to my home. I contacted the hotel manager to discuss the circumstances and they refused to do anything to cover my costs. So, If you choose to stay here (or are stuck staying here for some reason), DO NOT under any circumstances, leave anything valuable in plain sight. The resort does not offer room safes and at least one employee lacks the honesty and integrity to enter a room without stealing from it.
Aside from that, the place was mostly clean enough, the pools are small but the pool area is nice and they have a bar and restaurant - all satisfactory.
Oh also, when you go over for a parking pass after check in, they try to talk you into a time share pitch for a $200 AmEx gift card, decline at first - they will go up to $300. We still declined but maybe you can benefit from what I learned!

Picked nice Penthouse because of the view Saturday-Wed. I had surgery Thursday & wanted a first family vacay as a family of 4 (husband, 4 & 1 yr old, & myself) while I heal & he’s off to take care of me & let the kids have fun. The floors were so dirty both girls feet, hands, knees, clothes were black within the hour. I called, they moved us. Still on the top, diff building away from the view & now looking at another building & a piece of the view I wanted from afar. Then sink was clogged & stuck, lights in the fridge didn’t work, pullout bed had crumbled sheets and food crumbs all in it, & the washer wouldn’t drain. Electricians didn’t show up till around 11:30 PM when we were told it would be just a few minutes before they got there.. it was still daylight. We finally left at 9:30 to head to the pool because it closed at 10. Got back was getting around for bed & they showed up to fix the sink & the fridge. Got all the pool clothes together & did a load of laundry & the washer would not drain. So the next morning somebody comes to fix the washer & informs us that we were put in the wrong room that was bigger and nicer is what we were told. Which explains a lot. We were not packing & unpacking again. We knew that after we got to the second room and we were still cleaning knees and feet, but wasn’t as bad as the first room. I didn’t want to move. I even offered to shampoo the carpet myself just for the first view, but couldn’t. Also sure the lady won’t call Friday.

The resort location was definitely worth the amount we spent for the weekend. However, there was nothing spectacular about the room itself, damaged boards hanging lose on the sink, plug wouldn’t close in the tub for my kids and the tv’s were like watching “bunny ears” or tv with an antenna. We made it down in Saturday afternoon to enjoy the pool, however around 730-8 they closed the water slide. Wasn’t sure as to why when it’s an amenity and the pools open until 10ish?

The website was deceiving. The room was nothing like the website. Very disappointing. The pool areas were nice. And checking in was easy. Staff was nice.
