A fun night in a wigwam

We tried to book online without success, so we decided to drive there and ask at reception. The very helpful lady at the desk told us, “I have one left!”—and without even knowing the price, my wife immediately said, “We’ll take it!” (Luckily, it turned out to be very reasonable.)
The wigwam had everything we needed, and it was such a fun experience to spend the night in one. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for something a bit different and memorable.

Horrible experience at any price.

We are a retired couple with disabilities and booked a room to accommodate our handicaps. I checked in and paid for 5 days. Upon going into the room, I immediately saw that there were no facilities as we expected. Very small room. No grab bars in the bathroom, or even a counter to put basics on. The TV could barely be heard so I complained to the manager who came to the room and blamed their cable company. He then informed me that they didn't have any rooms for people disabilities. I was adamant about our need when I booked and was assured that we were getting the room we needed. We were already settled and have difficulties reloading the car and moving. Cody, WY may have the most over rated and definitely OVERPRICED accommodations in the country, so we stayed because at $113./night this was the least expensive.
We were stuck in a wigwam, whether we liked it or not!

Air conditioner didn't work

This close to Yellowstone it's difficult to get a room at a decent price. But Wigwam Motel came through. I got room 14, which is a two room room, with the bathroom between them. Unfortunately neither air conditioner worked, instead there was a large fan in one room, which is not the best replacement for air conditioners, not least because the lowest speed was too much for the room and made papers come alive.

Not again

We stayed here for one night. The staff was very pleasant and the wifi was fast. The room smelt funny and it was dirty. We were put on the back side of the motel and it was noisy from traffic. To park we had to jump a curb which is not fun on motorcycles.

Worst place I've ever stayed

The smell in the room was horrible. The customer service was horrible. There were stains on the blankets, a locked door inside the room that led to an unknown place, dead bugs in the bathroom. If you're looking to film a horror movie or do meth, this is the place for you. Otherwise, steer clear.
