As the name implies this is a budget motel. It met my expectations given the price point. The location is close to downtown and access to the Durango trolley is less than a block away. The staff is great.

First, let me compliment, how friendly and helpful the staff is here! The staff issued me a full refund and we really appreciated that.
This is the perfect hotel for people needing to conserve every single penny. For me and my partner, we’re willing to pay a little bit more for Comfort.
I called ahead to make sure the kitchenette was stocked so I can do my own cooking. Upon arrival I needed to rewash pots and pans because dried food had not been removed. The microwave was not clean and looked like it had been on fire. There was a peculiar Electrical switch that turned the air-conditioning off, so the stove could be used,
The toilet was broken and required hand manipulation in the tank to flush, and it ran all night interrupting our sleep

The hotel needs a lot of maintenance. The room was somewhat clean that they need to do a lot of extra work to make it a decent place to stay. It was rated as a seven and it should be a three or four. We would not have stayed there if we had known more about the motel.

The room smelled like a dog and the ac could not keep up. The front desk was of no help and room service just barged in.

The white pillow cover were stained also the bed cover,towel are old,shower nonstop dripping and one of the lamps didn't work
