We loved how pet friendly this hotel was. The rooms are recently updated and clean, with white linens.
We did not go to the bar/coffee place on the first floor, but it is open and looks like a nice spot to wind up or down for the day!

Awesome location, right in downtown Elk Rapids. Pet friendly and very clean. Rooms are condo-style and spacious. Accommodations are pretty bare-bones, but good for a short weekend. Part of hotel is unfinished. Looking forward to returning when hotel bar is complete!

We came here for the first time in July 2024. Just visited again and this property is under new management...the updates to the lounge area, service and hospitality are excellent! We were greeted consistently by staff. The new lounge and patio were our favorite. Make sure to get a drink or coffee and enjoy the view. We had an amazing time and will be back!

The check in process was very frustrating. I arrived around 7:00pm and there were no employees on site. I never received a check in link and walked around the building until I found a QR code but still needed an access code. I had to call customer service for help. This took about 15 minutes in total.
I finally entered inside and the building was very nice. There’s a bar that not yet finished. So there aren’t really any amenities. The room was clean but had an odd smell. Similar to cooked broccoli. There was a shared door to the neighboring room and it is PAPER THIN. The people in the neighboring room were drunk and loud. The bed itself was comfortable but the pillows were flat. The bathroom is very nice and the room is spacious. However, the shower ran out of hot water for a few minutes. This happened twice. The location was close to the downtown and marina which made walking around convenient. I voiced my complaints to the company and they offered a 10% off my next stay which the place already feels a bit overpriced.
Overall, the hotel is nice if all you’re looking for is a place to sleep in the area. Just be prepared if you show up to check in past 6:00pm and pray you don’t have noisy neighbors.
